To the West, enjoy the Wapsipinicon River. Your stay includes a paddleboat for exploring the private lake. Kayaks are available for rent. Catch-and-release fishing on the private lake means no fishing license is required.

This living area offers a country view and space to unwind. 9 miles to Field of Dreams movie site, 20 miles to Mississippi river. Wineries, breweries and parks nearby. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The upstairs is an open concept with tv/lounge area and 2 queen beds. The lower level provides dining/kitchen and pull-out sofa sleeper.

Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children and no pets. Outdoor relaxing space, gas grill. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Enjoy the fire pit and feel to walk around the grounds. Close to The Field of Dreams, Mississippi and Maquoketa Rivers. Also, close to Jones and Delaware county fair grounds. You’ll also find that Farley Speedway and Tristate Raceway are minutes away. Nature awaits!!

It's truly a gift to be able to share my home with others and we look forward to accommodating travelers from all stages of life. For a while, “hot water” was listed as something that was “unavailable”; this is not the case. The house is fully equipped with hot water
