Very professional host and beautiful cottage. The view over Kathmandu is priceless. If you want to get away from the rush and traffic in the city, this is a great option.

Suren is great host, everything was as described in the listing. Big yard and empty space. You can park on the territory. He is very friendly and well managed. This place is highly recommended.

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. I had a fantastic stay at Bhawani’s place, they have been always really helpful and nice with us since day one, very responsive and attentive and that was appreciated 🙏 They offer one complimentary meal and breakfast is included too, the food is also delicious there. Felt in love with paratha! The apartment is spacious and traditionally decorated, I love it this way. Hot shower and kitchen working perfectly and you can use the laundry as well. The location is peaceful and you can walk to bus station and cafes or take very cheap taxis to go to Thamel in 10 minutes, you should download Indrive for taxis, it’s really convenient. Nice supermarkets also just 10 minutes walking distance. It is a highly recommended place to stay in Katmandú and if I ever be back I will contact them again for sure. Situated in peaceful residential area. Google sometimes shows thin lanes as best route. Always coordinate with the owner. He was very helpful. My only concern was that there were no fan in the rooms. Though not required throughout the year in Kathmandu but in June it was hot and humid.

Good stay, considerate hosting. Old style hospitality missing in most of South Asia nowadays. Homely and seeped in knowledge culture.

Babin is an extremely hospitable host. I only stayed at his place for 1 night as a transit to Pokhara but Babin picked me up from the airport and gave a good room with all amenities to have a good night rest. I also got a good breakfast in the morning and he called a cab for me to get to the airport on time.

Great place to escape the hustle of Kathmandu and be well connected to the city as well. Ranju & family are great hosts, accompanied by their friendly dog, Covi. The accommodation is a spacious single bedroom apartment with all amenities, which was perfect. Would plan a second revisit for a longer stay. Thank you, Ranju.

Kulinha house at Cosy Nepal is a magical place. Historic Pattan is unique and vibrant, full of incredible history and energy.. The room itself is charming and perfectly equipped, with kitchen and two bathrooms—beautiful views from both windows, and a small terrace on which to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic experience for in Katmandu.

This is a wonderful place to stay to explore Patan. You are near the square without being right next to it and there are lovely restaurants and shops near the apartment. The place was special and we loved hangout on the rooftop balcony. Highly recommended!

Shailendra's guesthouse is a gem! After trekking in the mountains, spending 6 nights at his place felt like coming home. Nestled near Patan Durbar Square, the guesthouse is situated in a quaint, historic area of Kathmandu, where narrow streets devoid of cars wind through charming alleys filled with cozy cafes and eateries. Without hesitation, I recommend this location over Thamel (in my opinion, at least). The space itself exudes charm and comfort, with a homely ambiance. The Wi-fi was reliable, which was important considering I had quite a bit of work to get done. Oh, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! Above all, Shailendra's hospitality sets this guesthouse apart. In my 10+ years as an Airbnb user, he stands out as one of the finest hosts I've encountered. His warmth, assistance, and brief nightly chats added a personal touch, truly transforming the stay into a home.

This is my second stay with Cosy Nepal. The communication before, during and after my stay is the best. The staff are very attentive, kind and full of energy. We love the room as it looks like the pictures. Everything works great for me. We really enjoy our 3-night stay :)

This apartment was a beautiful home away from home. Comfortable bed, hot water in the shower, private clothes washing machine, well stocked kitchen, peaceful balcony, fast and reliable wi-fi, and everything else was as described. The hosts arranged for a car from the airport which made the check in process even easier. The kind host met us in the street outside the apartment. The apartment is in a prime location near the Patan Durbar Square. However, the building is through some courtyards away from the street and so you hear absolutely no street noise. I would highly recommend this host and location.

This place is exactly what I needed for our stay in Kathmandu. The appartement was in a typical Népal appartement with lots of cachets and decorated with taste. Lots of things to see nearby and I was so happy we decided to stay in Patan and not Thamel. Sohan was extremely helpful he even gave us a sim card to use free of charge for our stay and that was great. We asked for a driver to pick us up and Sohan was helpful arranging everything and even helped us with our luggage. I highly recommend this appartement.

Greeshma & Silvina contacted us at the airport on arrival & told us our room was ready early, so we could move in straight away. That was wonderful as we landed at 8am. Our cases didn’t arrive from Dubai so it was fairly stressful at the airport- we were told the guards at the property would keep them safe for us when they eventually arrived, if we were out, which was a relief for us. The apartment was lovely, bedrooms clean, fresh & bright. Everything worked as per any necessary instructions- the only niggle was the wobbly kitchen tap. It did work but seemed a bit tenuous on the wall. All in all a great stay, we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.
