This Country home is located 8km from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is at a perfect spot in southern Iceland where you can drive to the main attractions in the area such as Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vatnajökull, Diamond beach, and more. In Kirkjubæjarklaustur are common necessities such as groceries, restaurants, a swimming pool, and more. This home is a good fit for a family or a group of 6-7 travelers. It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.

Just a short 35 km drive from Eldgjá, 70 km drive from Landmannalaugar and 30 km drive from Fjaðrárgljúfur. Nearest grocery stores are in Kirkjubæjarklaustur (30km) and in Vík (45km). Vík is a beautiful town with old houses and a church that stands high above the town, there you may also find a good variety of restaurants.

This is a cabin in a row of 4, each cottage only sleeps 2 persons, please respect that. Each cabin is 28 m2 and has private entrance. This cabin (C) has one bedroom, small open living, dining and kitchen area. There is a bathroom with a wc and a shower. There is a small kitchenette (stove and a fridge) and dining facility. There is wifi and TV. Please note that there are no amenities for infants but it is not possible to specify "no infants" in the criteria.

Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from the ring road no 1 by road 208. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute drive from us. Our place is accessible by any car in normal conditions. Free EV charging.

Snæbýli Cottage 1

A warm and newly built cottage that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is 28m2 in size and is split into a bathroom and then a open space where is the kitchen, a living room and then a corner where the double bed is. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountainroad (F210).

Vallnatún Cabin

Vallnatún Cottage is located on the South coast of Iceland, nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches and glaciers. The place is nearby the main road but at the same time a remote place, with a great view of the coastline on one side and the mountains on the other side.

Valley Guesthouse - Cottage 4

Valley Guesthouse is located at the farm Kerlingardalur only 8 km east of the village Vík í Mýrdal. The farm is secluded, surrounded by mountains with a closeness to Mýrdalsjökull glacier. The small cottage consists of an open kitchen and living area with a sofabed, 1 bedroom and bathroom.
