Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.

Inside you will find all new appliances, bedding, and linens. Circle drive with parking. No smoking or pets allowed. Local restaurants include Las Brasis and Elderland. Or try out locally owned businesses just 6.5 miles drive to Dexter such as Hickory Log and Dexter BBQ!

20 acres, small house , supplied with linens, soaps, pans, Pets are allowed in most cases for $30 unless paid online fee payable upon arrival . Animals aren’t welcome to sleep in the beds or sit on the furniture unless <20 lbs Were close to Piney Woods lake 2 min,Black & Current River ( 10- 20 min.), Wappapello & Clearwater Lake. About 20 minutes from Poplar Bluff. outdoor gas grill and a small charcoal grill and patio with a fire pit in a large yard. We have weak wifi . No smoking!

Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

We are conveniently minutes away from a Dollar General, Peoples Creek and Redman Creek recreation areas, and Sundowner Marina. This tiny home retreat will suit your needs if you are looking to fish, hunt, hike/bike trails, enjoy the beach, or just relax with your favorite people.

Two full hook up RV sites are on either side of the tiny home, allowing for camping of family or friends. Your host is close by in a home next door allowing us to quickly meet needs that may surface during your stay. The unit does have a washer/dryer as well. Note: RV rental is separate.
