the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is clean and has nice accomodations and games for families. The host is very responsive and helpful as well.

we had our kids and one Dog, she was kinds responsive and flexible when needed and anything I brought up which were all little things I needed she took care of quickly and accommodated us as needed. My kids enjoyed feeding horses and the friendly dogs on-site. We would stay agian

The lofts in Downieville are airy, clean, and well-outfitted. The bed is comfortable, and the queen fold-out in the living room worked well. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Downieville is our favorite place to visit in California and Sonya's lofts offer everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

A lovely, quiet home in a peaceful, rural-agricultural neighborhood overflowing with historical Oroville vibes. Some other reviewers have commented their concern over the local homeless population and while we did see one such fellow, it wasn't an issue and didn't cause us to feel unsafe. The dogs loved the open space throughout the house and the fenced yard -- FYI, though: if you have a small dog that could squeeze through a 5"x5" square, the backyard fencing likely wouldn't meet your needs. The back porch with string lights is a nice space to spend the evening or in the morning with coffee. Love the early morning rooster sounds nearby that are only audible from outside the home! I also truly appreciated the abundance of cozy blankets for snuggling up with. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

The house exceeded our expectations. Very clean, and had everything we needed plus more. It accommodated all 6 of us and we had so much room to spread out. It’s a beautiful home in a very quiet, safe and pretty neighborhood. We will be staying again next time we come through Chico.

Amazing location and better yet amazing host!

Everything was simply PERFECT! So clean and fresh with beautiful decor accents! The furnishings were very comfortable and great bedroom accommodations. The interior design is extremely well planned with privacy for all guests. We felt right at home and couldn’t have asked for a more charming, wonderful place to stay! The private outdoor space is calming and tranquil. We would DEFINITELY stay there again given a chance’s to revisit Chico. Thank you so very much for being so responsive kind hosts!

I stayed with my family while driving back to Seattle. As soon as we went in we all felt at home. My two boys enjoyed going straight to the double twin beds room and relaxed. It was very clean and with a nice back yard. I definitely recommend and very family friendly.

Edgar’s house was great! Quiet neighbourhood, close drive to many places, check-in was simple and quick. We loved the spaciousness of the house and double bathrooms as we were a group of 5 adults. TV’s were equipped and kitchen was loaded as well. Overall, enjoyed the stay and would come again—definitely recommend.

Peaceful retreat with a great gym!

Love this beautiful Home. We felt right at home! The house was clean and I felt so relaxed the moment I walked through the door. Chelsea was always available throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly we became friends with Mike next door. It is located in a great location quite and away from all the traffic. I was hoping to stay longer but it was already booked up for the month. Next time we will plan better Lol 😁
