Audra is a wonderful host with a beautiful space! Everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip was included, and the cabin was clean and cozy. Would absolutely recommend!

Abbey’s place was beautiful, scenic, there were lots of things to do, indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather, and it was in a great location! This cottage was a home-away-from-home and we would recommend to it anyone! Abbey responds in a timely fashion to any questions you may have and she is very friendly and kind. It was also convenient that there were 2 washrooms and our son loved the sandbox with a multitude of toys, especially trucks! Not many places have the same types of amenities so this was a rare find indeed!

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Trails are right across the street! Great place to stay if you have any atvs, dirt bikes, sxs, or snowmobiles.

Very nice cottage in the middle of nature and in front of the lake… ideal for a break from the city ! Megan is reactive and communicating with her was easy.

We loved staying at Mary's cabin!! From the moment we arrived, we felt we'd walked into a magical winter wonderland. The coziness of the cabin is unmatched. The interior is dim, even with the lights on, but it fit the vibe. It was very comfortable and had everything we might need - towels, linens, puzzles, information about local attractions, cleaning supplies, and a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Sarah's place was a dream. My husband and I stayed for my birthday weekend in April 2025 with our toddler and infant. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We loved the huge kitchen with space to cook our own Easter meal, decorate eggs, and spread out all of our children's Easter goodies on the large dining table. The kitchen and living area are the best parts of the home -- spacious, clean, and free of clutter. We loved waking up each morning to the lake view along with the accessibility of the grill and hot tub just steps from the kitchen/dining/living area. Sarah was a proactive and welcoming host, and did everything she could to try to make it right when we found the coffeemaker missing (a previous guest had broken it, and it was being replaced). This is a remote location perfect for getting away from the city, but Tawas is a quick 30-40 minute drive away with a cute downtown, pier, and state park. We definitely felt rejuvenated after our stay -- thank you!!!

We had a wonderful stay - perfect for a romantic, couples getaway! The view was incredible - beautiful surroundings, peaceful, and SO comfortable. We especially appreciated the earliest check-in time of 3 PM and latest check out time of 12 PM; was able to make the most of our time and did not at all feel too short or rushed with a one night stay. Other details that made it extra great include: access code and wifi details provided immediately after booking, lots of firewood with no extra fee for it, really good and quick heating/air conditioning in the dome to adapt to night/day time temperatures, fully equipped kitchen and washroom like a home/cabin, complimentary Keurig drinks. Hot tub and sunset were amazing! Twinkle lights made it feel magical! Short walk to the private beach, so relaxing. Can't rave about this place enough - we are already thinking about when we can return, can't wait to come back! Many thanks to the wonderful host! :)

High quality stay! Clean home, comfortable beds and sofa, easily accessible and private. Available games, and plenty selection on the tv. This was a genuinely relaxing stay; everything is taken care of here. We enjoyed having breakfast on the river and saw a steelhead swimming upstream. We will absolutely be back! Thank you!

This place is a treasure! From the set up and lay out of the tiny house to the pristine and private outdoor space, Mike's place exceeded my expectations. Comfy bed, GORGEOUS views, excellent set up and did I mention the dock? Beautiful. Mike also helped us out with anything we needed and checked in on us during an ice storm! All in all, thumbs way up. Will definitely come back here and encourage anyone to try it. Thank you, Mike!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! We had lots of snow during our visit, and loved getting to enjoy the peaceful and private property. We even dug out the campfire pit for a winter fire! Even with all the snow, we were warm and comfortable, with the portable heater coming in handy to warm up after trekking through the snow! Jaclyn was so thoughtful and helpful as a host! We were very well taken care of! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, peaceful, and cozy getaway surrounded by nature!

The perfect woodsy escape. We went for a couple nights and it was better than we expected. Quiet, private, and the cabin was so cozy. We were stuck inside one day due to the rain, but neither of us were disappointed. The hosts stock the bunky with games and books for entertainment and the bbq and fire table on the deck were great when it got wet outside. When the weather cleared we took advantage of the many surrounding trails. We brought our two pups and they were welcomed with blankets and dishes. Very pet friendly. If we’re ever back in Ontario we would love to stay again. Thank you for sharing this special place with us!

Derek was an excellent host, helped us check-in and then let us enjoy the property privately afterwards. A large property, very quiet and peaceful- we stayed for New Year's eve and Derek allowed us to check out late. Looks like it would be a wonderful property to stay at during the summer! The only slightly bad thing I could is that the outhouse may not be suitable for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience Derek! I think it would be nice to stay again sometime during the summer!

Beautiful tiny home in Sears, MI! Awesome place to relax and disconnect from technology. The home looked even better in person than in pictures!

For what I needed, it was perfect. To be honest, I had a not-great experience here the first time, but I chose not write about it, and give it another chance (2 more stays now since, actually), and it fits my needs perfectly. Bed is comfy, all is quiet, wifi works great, shower and bathroom are steps away, all as described.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of nights to go to Mackinac island and lakeshore. We brought our dog along and it was the perfect cabin vibe we were looking for. We had some lovely peaceful mornings able to make breakfast (we brought a hot plate) and coffee (keurig). We were able to have a bonfire and look at the stars too, perfect tranquil camp vibe with string lights on the porch. There was a short path we could walk the dog around the campsite in the mornings that felt safe. Only 15 minutes away from Mackinaw city.
