The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

Cabin on Highland Bayou

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a 400 square foot open concept cabin with an additional 200 sq ft loft. It is on a private lot with waterfront views on highland bayou. You can enjoy fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or just relax and watch the sunset. There is a 10X20 deck you can sit and soak in the view. The firepit, swing, and grill are located on the property. It is only 11 miles from Galveston Island. Bring mosquito spray as it’s on the waterfront.

Lake Cabin in the Forest - Houston National Forest

This is a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful sunset and sunrise at the lake in Sam Houston National Forest with the geese, the ducks, and the birds, and keeping an eye out for the deer enjoying the lake. There's plenty of yard for your furbabies to enjoy. There's lots of scenery on the drive to the cottage (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, wineries, farms, wedding venues, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cabin in the forest. It's only walking distance to the beautiful Lone Star Trail in Sam Houston National Forest. This forest cabin has access to a fishing pier that is fully stocked with native fish (no license required); please follow lake rules. Bring your kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy the lake. There's lots of scenery (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera!

Whether it's a day or a week, Cloud's Cabin is a quiet, private spot to rest up. We are situated on a small self-sufficient working homestead. We grow seasonal vegetables and exotic rare fig tree varieties from around the world! We are big FIG enthusiast here!

Just Chillin by the Lake

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.Cabin is about 50 yards to Big Thicket walking trail, and Hesters Bridge is at the bottom of the hill. You can wet a hook in Turkey creek or walk the trails . Watch out for the wild life, or you can sit back and enjoy the woods from the back porch.
