Come enjoy a relaxing get away in our historic cabin where the old meets the new! This 90 year old cabin was originally built as a summer cabin to house lake workers. It has been revamped with a modern twist inspired by wildflowers. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake. It is extremely easy to access year-round via car, has great views of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of the mountains by our 2 communal fire pits. Year around fishing, hiking, and new Gameroom. MLL was built in the 1950's; these authentic rustic cabins are the perfect retreat. Onsite are 3 outside security cameras for your safety. One camera is located in detached Gameroom.

Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Relax and Watch Wildlife

Sit back and relax in our 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin. The cabin is 10 minutes from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from cross-country/snowshoeing/snowmobile trails, 2 minutes from mountain lakes (for boating, fishing, and skiing), 25 minutes from Ski Granby, and 40 minutes from Winter Park Ski. After enjoying the outdoors, return to a cozy fire or enjoy wildlife from the patios. Long driveway for multiple cars. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by family.

That Dam Cabin, too!

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.

Historic 2.5-bedroom cabin w/sleeping porch

Historic cabin located just blocks from Grand Lake, the town beach, playground, and the boardwalk with shops and restaurants. Enjoy it's full kitchen,BBQ,firepit,canoe,and bike. The 3rd bedroom is a sleeping porch that can easily accommodate four. Our family has been living here full time for the past 4 years during which cabin has been remodeled. Therefore you will experience the comforts of home (not a corporate AirBnb) and we ask you treat as you would your own home.

Cozy Cabin on the Fraser River

Cozy & comfortable cabin located on the Fraser River. You can hear the peaceful river from the Master Bedroom or Living Room. The trout filled Frazer river is 50 feet away! You are twenty minutes from Winter Park or Grand Lake and ten minutes to Hot Sulfur Springs. Granby has a large grocery store a mile down the road and several nice restaurants and local shops.
