The Hawk's Nest (Pets welcome, no fee)

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.

Relax with the family at this beautiful Roanoke Rapids Lakehouse featured on VisitNC (link included in pictures). Bring your own boat to fish or ski the day away, with the ability to moor it up at the boathouse for easy everyday use.
