We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lotus Lake Retreat. The inside of the property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time outside due to family living on the lake and celebrating a birthday party. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was beautiful. Very clean, friendly neighborhood and a short walk to the lake. Would recommend this home to anyone.

My husband and I loved this place and we were able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck, soaking in the beautiful view. We only slept in the main bedroom downstairs, but that bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We didn’t have the best weather, so the many streaming services was a plus. I would like to return in the summer. I didn’t realize that the water level of the lake in April would be so low. The two of us really enjoyed our stay, but this home would also be the perfect place for a family to rent.

We had an amazing stay at Ava’s lake house! The pictures truly do not do it justice. The view of the lake was incredible—we spent hours sitting outside, enjoying the peaceful scenery, having a fire, and watching the boats go by. The home felt like our own, with all the comforts we needed, including everything for grilling and making breakfast. It was so cozy, private, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax. We did not want to leave. This was, by far, my favorite Airbnb experience yet. We can’t wait to come back!

The house was just fine very clean but I do have to say I was impressed and very happy with the little things Jennifer did such as making sure there was coffee, advil, cooking utensils and things such as this! We had just sold our house and of course had none of these types of items on hand with us. I know it’s a small thing but as in life the little things matter! lol Thank you Jennifer and looking forward to a return trip in the summer sometime! Chris and Kara

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

Patricia's place was super clean and was very responsive to me when I had questions, since I've never stayed at an Airbnb before. Was very homey and such a great location, I'll definitely have to come back again!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

This was an absolutely beautiful location, and the inside of the Airbnb was completely charming, the view from the foyer looking out one of the bedroom windows was full lake and it filled me with a sense of peace that I’ve been looking for for a while. I cannot wait to stay here again, and this may become my family’s meeting point between Michigan and Virginia!

I went during the off-season - it was easy to get to, Joyce was incredibly helpful and kind! Would definitely love to visit again in the future. She was very accommodating and friendly! I loved the whole eccentric vibe of the town and everyone felt very welcoming and friendly.

Leanne’s place was so cozy and a great stay for a weekend spent skiing at Peek n peak resort! She was so kind and always responded quickly to any questions we had. She was flexible for our check in and check out times which is really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here.

I had a great week at Melissa's cottage. What questions I had were answered immediately. The park pass was really appreciated as that the reason for my visit. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to the area.

Great cottage! Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed the beautiful beach which was a short walk away and the lovely yard. We had several bonfires and enjoyed the cozy cottage environment. Wonderful stay!

perfect place for a fishing trip!

The cottage was pristine when we arrived, the waterfront is within view and walking distance and there was a lovely park across the way for my youngest. The neighborhood is quiet, lots of people out walking their dogs. Easily found extra linen for a colder than expected night, and host made the check-in and out very easy. Great place for a family to vacation, it will be a place to return when I am in the area again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host was proactive, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire experience. The cottage was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful, clean, and cozy. What truly made it special was the extra touch: she had added a “Happy Birthday” decoration for my girlfriend, which made the celebration even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. Highly recommend!

We love staying here! Tracey is absolutely amazingly, the place is beautiful, the lake is beautiful (and a bit cold in May, although we did swim a little - only try if youre brave, haha). The window with the view is enough. Such a sweet getaway!
