Lake Charles: soggiorni in case sul lago

Our family of six stayed here visiting family over the Christmas holiday. We were very comfortable in the space, which provided plenty of room for all of us. It was even decorated for the holiday season, which was a nice and welcoming touch. The setting was peaceful and offered natural beauty, and yet we were a very short drive to local grocery stores and restaurants. James was very proactive and responsive in his communications, even over the holiday, which was much appreciated. We also enjoyed being close to Sam Houston Jones state park, which offered some nice and picturesque hikes. Highly recommended for a family spot.

We had a wonderful weekend and the location was perfect. Great view of the community pond right outside the back door.

Stunning views of the lake and water areas. It was so peaceful to swing by the water or sit and watch the water. Outside and inside were perfect. Next time we will bring our boat. Fishing looked to be amazing. We can't wait to book our next stay.

Everything was as described. The place was warm and inviting and the surroundings were beautiful. The welcome packet had all the information we needed and the checkout process was easy. We made wonderful memories on the wharf!

If you want a clean home, bird watching, peaceful surroundings, a water view, and pet friendly accommodations--this is it! We loved the balcony view of the river and the downstairs screened porch view of the marsh and river. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

It was a great little house. The house was very quiet and clean, everything we hope to find in an airbnb. The hot tub was perfect, clean, and private. The house had any and everything we could need. The location is on point, very close to casino, and walking park and lake across the street was very safe and well maintained. We will definitely recommend to friends who come to Lake Charles. Marie is a good host and you won't be disappointed.

Quick to respond and checked in on us during our stay. I brought my dad, husband, our 2 children (6 and 8); also my brother, sister, niece (all adults). Plenty of room. My dad has property in Cameron and my BIL has been coming to Hackberry with his buddies since the late 80s, but you don’t have to know much about the area to have a great time. We crabbed, fished, and enjoyed exploring at low tide. Our dog was in heaven chasing seagulls. Sheriff made rounds. Felt very safe. Good crawfish nearby in Sulphur. My dad bought oysters right off the boat in Cameron. Shucked them on the pier while watching the sunset. Boiled the crab we caught. Went to Holly Beach 25min away. Go up to the top deck and drink your coffee or wine. Loved watching the boats in the channel. No probs with WiFi. Ty!

If you’re looking for a place to get away that’s quiet and peaceful, this is the place to go. I will definitely be staying here again and recommend it to everyone

Was an awesome stay! Beautiful home that looked just like the pictures. Perfect for the beach/fishing getaway weekend like we did. Well worth the price and would stay again! Hosts were very nice and responsive!

Had a great time staying here! Lots of space, large front porch, and a boat shoot/cleaning station is very convenient. The ice machine was the icing on the cake to top it off! Would defiantly recommend.
