Our family loved staying at the big blue house! There was so much great usable space for 7 of us to use. We have a 3 year old and there were puzzles, toys and games for her to play with, which was gravely appreciated and unexpected! But also cool things to play with for teenage niece and nephew to play with as well. Each room having its own bathroom was also amazing. There were so many little details that made the trip feel like home. Like liquid soap in each bathroom, shampoo conditioner and body wash in each shower, and fans in each bedroom if you needed it. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was how it was said to be. Very clean, and plenty of room. Nicer than some of the pictures made it out to be. Beautiful setting right on the river, with lots of privacy

So grateful for this cozy, nice home that was our home for a month. Dawne was a wonderful host who checked on us frequently and offered to do snow removal in a blizzard. Everything was clean and our kids loved the treats she put out for our arrival. It’s clear Dawne cares about her guests and we would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Cute little town with some walkable parks and delicious food. Definitely a great place to relax and unwind not far from Green Bay. The host was very accommodating and helpful; always responded quickly to any question we had. Would stay again!

We were looking for a place to stay on a week end near Plymouth and I am glad we found this unique house. Excellent stay for 2 families. Plenty of space. We enjoyed playing pool and arcade games. We relaxed and went to Plymouth which offers several choices of restaurants and bars. I definitively recommend this house.

We needed a dog friendly place for a Road America weekend. This was great. I walked the dog nearby and across the road to a beautiful lakefront neighborhood. Didn’t cook there but heated up takeout food. Cute backyard that was too wet for us to hang out in. Comfy beds and cool race memorabilia in unit.

Steve is really easy to work with and the apartment is always clean and ready to go . The apartment is in an easy to get to location, with walkable eating options, but still quiet and private.

Carrie was very accommodating with a special request and didn't hassle me about my Guide Dog, even though they don't accept pet dogs. I try to only stay in places that accept pets, because I've been harassed before by other hosts that try to charge me extra, or want my dog to stay outside! The apartment was very comfortable, mattress in main bedroom was great, I was pleasantly surprised. The other bed is a futon, but a nicer one. We have never stayed in an apartment airbnb before. I always want very private spaces, but I had no choice for this trip. Was pleasantly surprised, barely knew anyone was living downstairs.

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at The Bird House! True to its name, we were surrounded by the peaceful sounds and sights of birds all throughout our stay—it felt like we were tucked away in a hidden nature sanctuary. Every little detail, from the warm lighting to the natural textures and modern-rustic decor, made the space feel both relaxing and luxurious. It was the perfect balance of comfort and charm. Our host was incredibly caring and attentive throughout the whole experience. From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, they made sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, peaceful setting with top-notch hospitality!

This house is absolutely stunning! It’s spotless, beautifully designed, and located in a fantastic spot. The view is breathtaking, with a beautiful lake and a lovely interior. There’s plenty of space for big families, and the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The house is also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors. Our family had an amazing time. Close to our kids and grandkids. Plan to book again. Accommodations were awesome. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Beautiful outdoor area with fire put, grill and yard games. Such a peaceful place but close enough to drive to stores and restaurants.

This is a lovely home and a great place to stay. It fit our needs perfectly as a family visiting the area for a wedding. It sits in a quiet, landscaped setting, is comfortably furnished with high quality amenities, and is well maintained. The lake is perfect if you are looking for a natural setting with plenty of birds and wildlife - if you are looking for a sandy beach, lots of open water, or an "all sports" lake it might not be for you.

Excellent two night stay. We would reiterate everything the other commentators have said about The Loch at WhiskyWood. Our day was spent with a late breakfast, a one hour drive through Amish country to Horican Wildlife Refuge. Spring migration on the boardwalk trail is not to be missed. A return drive to Montello to see the falls, walk the lakefront trail and view Wisconsin's Tallest Tree (debatable). An Old Fashioned (A requirement for any Wisconsin vacation) at Rivers Edge Saloon, grocery stop at Freitags, then back to WhiskeyWood for grilled steak al fresco - indoors, but with the garage door open. It's the same thing. Evening thunderstorms finished the day. Such a great day and a spectacular cabin!

This was our third stay at Barbara’s cabin and we plan to come back every year! The adorable cabin has everything we need for a quiet get-away and is in a beautiful, private wooded setting. Communication with Barbara is consistently clear, prompt and welcoming. Highly recommend!

this is my second stay at the 1850 cabin and it was another relaxing experience. It is quiet and scenic and it brings you back in time when you stay in a structure without a bathroom and running water. I love it there and will return..

My partner and I absolutely fell in love with this cozy little house. The recommendations for local spots were fantastic, and we felt right at home. The decor and little touches were phenomenal. We are 100% planning on returning again.
