Old Missouri Farm

Newly remodeled, 120 yr old farm house and cattle ranch on 125 acres of Ozark fields and forest off historic Route 66 Highway. We welcome those who can stay just one night or those who want to stay longer. Hike in our woods, view wildlife, enjoy a bonfire, or just sit on the porch and relax! We have an Activity Barn with all sorts of outdoor gear/toys. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and we are close to the historic town of Carthage where there are several great restaurants.

Forest Garden Yurts

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.

Cozy one-room stay on Historic Route 66 between Carthage and Springfield. Features a king bed, two couches, dining table, kitchenette (Keurig, microwave, fridge), Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and tub/shower. Complimentary breakfast items provided in the room. Washer/dryer available on request. There is also an adjoining room available to rent. We are located about 15 min from any major stores or larger towns.

Stairs and dock are available for easy access to the river. Great fishing. Kayaks and canoe available also tubes for floating. Continental breakfast, lots of drinks and snacks. Yoder's Homestead is a charming hobby farm in beautiful Lawrence county, MO, just three miles south of Route 66. Along with being sparkling clean, we have a kitchen with the basics for cooking and baking, and a dining room for enjoying your meals. There are also four bedrooms and three bathroom, and a spacious living room.
