Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

Nestled into 11 acres of ponderosa pines, Durango Basecamp Cabin provides you the serenity of mountain living combined with the ease of accessing all that Durango has to offer in 10min. The Loft encompasses a cozy mountain cabin feel with modern updates and easy access to some of Southwest Colorado's best attractions. Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Beautiful Log Mountain Home with a View

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

Owls Nest is a private loft studio that looks out at the stunning views of La Plata Mountains and the sweeping farm land of Florida Mesa. It is 15 minutes drive from Downtown Durango. Welcome to our beautiful southwestern home with a view of open space and forest. You will be staying on the ground floor of a unique 2 unit home. A long term tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment with a separate private entrance. Amy and Daniel are available remotely if you need anything during your stay. We are two miles from town, 5 from downtown and 29 miles from Purgatory. It’s the perfect southwest adventure hub!

The beautiful Oso Verde Ranch, a natural oasis, is located close to Mesa Verde. This eco-friendly gem sits on 40 acres, just a mile from Downtown Mancos, on the Mancos River, with a little 3 hole chipping range golf course and a beautiful pond. Geese, ducks, blue herons, song birds, turkeys, hawks, eagles, elk, deer, fox and other wildlife can be seen here.
