The house was the perfect getaway. The attention to detail was amazing, from the bath bomb in the bath to the duck food left for us to feed the ducks. It was a peaceful location and beautiful surroundings. Casey was a great host. We will definitely be coming back!

Anna's house is in a fantastic location overlooking the historic part of Oamaru and harbour. Even allowing for a short distance hill it is a really quick and easy stroll into town, we aways walked rather than drove into town. There is good wifi and YouTube available on the TV, though we couldn't get free to air TV to work?? The mattress and pillows are really comfortable and the doona warm. The house has great heaters and is well sealed against the elements, you won't be cold here. The kitchen is old but functional, and there were a few pantry items that came in handy. There is only one light in the kitchen so there are dark corners at night but we can't say it was really a problem. The bathroom didn't have a powerpoint so we just used the provided hair dryer in the bedroom. We had one of our nicest days of the trip bunkered in here on a rainy day, warm and dry against the elements with a lovely view over the harbour, reading, bliss! We would happily stay here again, thanks Anna!

Perfect for a stay in middlemarch, had everything we needed.

Fabulous view. Could walk to the Moeraki Boulders (45 min) and short walk (10 min) to local watering hole (Moeraki Tavern). Stunning view from Whaler's Point also walkable. Short drive to lighthouse. Seals plentiful and we also got lucky and saw penguin!

We're happy with the stay, too bad that we didn't have more time for a longer stay. Great for people who wants to chill and relax.

Such a gorgeous cottage set in sunny position on the property. So peaceful and a great view from the deck. Liked that it was only 5 min drive out of Oamaru in a quiet rural setting. Very comfortable beds. And kitchen well equipped with all you need. Buddy the dog is delightful and loves back scratches! Dad and I will look forward to the next time we can stay . Highly recommended 😊

Wow what a fantastic spot, we absolutely loved our stay here, what a gorgeous home - we felt so relaxed from the minute we arrived. You have everything you need, the bed is so comfy the bathroom is spotless and the garden is stunning…with the log burner you couldn’t be more cosy! The most relaxing long weekend and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
