We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rajendra Ji’s place! He and his wife were such warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel completely at home. The homemade food was not only delicious but also so affordable,we couldn't have asked for better! A special mention for the milk they served us; I usually don’t drink milk without Bournvita, but this one was so fresh and tasty that I loved it just as it was! Their kindness and hospitality were truly unmatched. They were always polite and caring, making sure we had everything we needed. The friendly dogs on the property added to the charm, making the experience even more delightful. And the location? Absolutely breathtaking! Words simply can’t do justice to the beauty of the surroundings. To top it all off, the people in the area were incredibly warm and friendly, adding to the overall homely vibe of the place. If you’re looking for a stay that feels like home with amazing food, serene views, and heartwarming hospitality this place to be💖

A must experience if you are in Manali is to live the local way. This home is one of the best options for that. I enjoyed staying at the property amongst lovely people. Krishna ji wasn’t at station when we stayed, but her mother and niece helped make our stay wonderful. The view from the the outside the home is breathtaking. And the food, oh it was extremely tasty.

It was our first trip to Himachal. Chahat and Vyanky was very helpful to arranging our transport and site seeing locations. Special thanks to Drawraka Didi and Chamman Bhai who gave us good homely food and took care of all our needs. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about the villages and their history. Very peaceful place and would visit them again . Thank you Chahat, Vyanky, Dwaraka didi and Chamman Bhai for an amazing experience, wonderful stay and being an extraordinary host.

My experience at Ashirwad homestay in Sainj valley was absolutely stellar! From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking views of the hills and sunrise, every moment was sheer delight. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel right at home. The food was amazing, with flavors that reminded me of homemade meals. The owners truly went above and beyond in terms of hospitality, exceeding all expectations. And the rooms were even better than the pictures portrayed. I can't recommend this gem enough for a serene getaway amidst nature's beauty. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon!

Mount Happy, indeed! Ankit’s place is in a really peaceful part of Hallan valley. The house has unobstructed views of the mountains! You can just laze around in the garden watching the mountains throughout the day. The house is also bathed in sunlight through the day. The house is equipped with technology, right from bed warmers to heaters to geysers to a fully equipped kitchen. The house has a library which is pretty well stocked. The house also has a small garden which results in the freshest of veggies for your salads. Ankit is a very hospitable host and went out of his way to ensure our comfort on multiple occasions. He was kind enough to even bake me some bread for my further travels. Sunita di (the caretaker) is a gem of a person and is always around to help. Definitely give her aloo parathas a try. A special mention to Bella and Brownie (the resident dogs) who are too damn friendly! So glad I came across this listing, and this definitely won’t be my last visit to this place!

Dunichand Ji was very helpful and always there to help out. Many thanks to him for making sure we felt safe and comfortable. Everything was exactly as per the listing. Totally worth the price, but... Cons - - The property is in a highly inconvenient location because the property is accessible only by a steep flight of about 60 steps. It was very hard to climb after a long day of activities. It is especially challenging if it snows. If you are coming as a family and can afford a higher price, go for a property on the main road. - No backup during power cuts. If you can afford a higher price, go for a property with central heating and power backup, at least for the nights. Other than the 2 points above, the property was exactly as described in the listing, with great views and amenities.

I really liked the location of this place. It's 20 kms before main Manali market etc so if you're goal is to see Manali then this might be a bit far unless you have your own car. We weren't really interested in Mall road and our main goal was to drive to Atal tunnel and Keylong the next morning. So for a night's stay it was perfect. Surrounded by lots of green I liked the quiet ambience here. I am not sure how the other rooms were but we booked a villa that had a hall and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 on the first floor. Both rooms had attached bathrooms. The campus also had some random swings that gave us 5 mins of adventure lol. Food taste was decent (some may not like it but if you're not a food drama queen you'll survive) P.S. For those worried by the word "Satvika" in the name - they do have non veg food :)

We just wanna start by saying one word: "satisfied." 😇 It's a beautiful homestay situated in a safe neighbourhood👌🏽 The hosts, Rakesh and Preethi, especially made sure of it ❤️ From providing proper, authentic home food and tidy accommodations To guide us our way through Kullu and Manali, Rakesh took entire responsibility of our journey in Himachal, which left us nothing but to just enjoy our trip peacefully 🤩✌️ He even acquainted us with local travel, which was really cheap and the best. We are just happy to say that "Royal Den" homestay does absolute justice to the names "Royal" and "homestay." And the hosts, Rakesh and Preethi, made our visit complete ❤️ Once again, it's a beautiful homestay, which is made even more beautiful by its hosts 😇 Thanks, Rakesh and Preethi ❤️

Ara Homestay is a perfect place to plan for vacation. Harish and Lipika are wonderful host. We went there with our parents and daughter. All of us had a great time there. Highly Recommended for every type of age group. Even the food we had, was having the home like taste. Rooms and Bathrooms were so clean. Their personal involvement in suggesting the nearby places during the vacation saved our time and efforts, they had a very good experience of Manali weather and surrounding places to visit. In future, whenever we plan for Manali, definitely we are going to stay in ARA.

This is a bit secluded and pretty far away from Shimla, and the directions can get quite tricky unless followed very carefully. Remember to search for Karyali Saroor as Google shows a different Karyali in Himachal Pradesh. It could be a long drive but will be worth with some really nice scenic view on the way. You will also find an old fallen concrete bridge on your way at Nauti Khad, which is quite interesting view in itself! The property itself is very lovely and tranquil place in the heart of mountains, it was warn in the day and cool at night when we visited in October! You can find natural treks to go around, we did a quick trek with kids to nearby waterfall! Try turning off all the garden lights in the night, and gaze the stars above, it was mesmerising! They is not much around the place (limited general shops), so carry everything you might need.

Frank and Alok are amazing hosts who don’t leave a single stone unturned in order to make sure your stay is comfortable and amazing. The place is remote, so please respect the locals and you will have a great stay. Airbnb location is wrong so simply put 4rooms in google or just contact Frank.

It was really a blissful experience at Mansi’s bnb ! Couldn’t ask more .. the place is surrounded by beautiful views and the bnb itself is nicely maintained!! Mansi is really very supportive, approachable and friendly! She will help you out with sightseeing as well cute cafés ! It’s a perfect place to be !! Would surely love to visit her bnb again and would recommend her well enough for others to have an experience of peace, fun and tranquility! :)

KC and Ash are the most generous and delightful hosts. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and they are always available to ensure every need is met. The hospitality at WindRush Home is nothing short of exceptional—you can feel the love and care poured into every corner of the space. They curated a wonderful itinerary for us, offering fantastic local recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. Breakfast is a treat, with their wonderful help, Kanchan, making the most delicious parathas. When I was down with a cold, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, which speaks volumes about their kindness. But what truly sets this stay apart is KC and Ash themselves—warm, inspiring, and a joy to converse with. Learning about their journey and work was just as enriching as the stay itself. If you’re in Naggar, there is simply no better place to be than Windrush Home. We can’t wait to return!

My two friends and I visited "For a while" in September 2016 and this was certainly one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The sheer natural beauty of the valley alongwith the warmth of Debapriya, Shalini and the staff at For A While made this a magical experience for us. The attention to detail is hard to miss in this place. Right from the decor of the place to the constant communication by the hosts during our journey to their constant attention to our stated (and unstated) needs....made us feel at home even before we got to the place :) The place can be reached after a bumpy ride during the last stretch (of 2 km)....but it is totally totally worth it. This is perfect for anyone who wants to undergo a digital detox, just be in the lap of nature and experience small joys like climbing hills, walking along the river, collecting wild flowers or just chilling by the cottage with a book. Additionally, we were treated to lip smackingly delicious meals every single day wherein some of the ingredients were freshly grown in the vegetable patch nearby. Our evenings were spent over long conversations with the hosts and musings under a phenomenally starry sky. As if all of this wasnt enough....we actually saw two shooting stars and a rainbow! Such fun! On one of the days we drove up to the Jalori Pass (which is a 3 hour drive from here) and our hosts very thoughtfully packed a picnic basket for us....which we relished when we were starving during our hike. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the hills, valleys and rivers in a rustic and warm space....and rediscover the many joys that can be found by just wandering around :)

Nice & comfy stay in Kothi. Room was super clean with the great view. The only downside is the Host.. The host didn’t reply to the message.
