An old Japanese Traditional KOMINKA house with a history of about 150 years. It's located along the River. When you open the window, you can feel the pleasant breeze coming up from the river. Opposite the house is a Shrine and two large zelkova trees that are designated as national natural monuments. It's like the world of Ghibli. Perfect for trekking, bouldering, rock and mountain climbing. Mt. Mizugaki in Chichibu-Tama Kai National Park is easily accessible. Please add your favorite:)

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

We have renovated a small wooden hut by woods. It stands on a plateau area over 1,000m elevation. When I was a child, my one of a dream was building my secret place like this by myself. And the dream had come true at last! I hope you remember your childhood memory and feel wooden warmth by handmade in beautiful nature.
