Kópavogur: soggiorni in appartamento

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Arni’s home. It is a very well positioned apartment, within easy walking distance of good restaurants, cafes and the best public swimming pool, hot tub complex. Very comfortable beds and spacious kitchen.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

I had the most amazing stay at Linda’s place !!! The view is breathtaking in million dollar apartments, close to everything ( like a 1 min walk ) the place is absolutely stunning next time I come I’ll only stay at Linda’s 🥰

Great apartment located a short walk from the main streets and centre of Reykjavik. We hired a car for some of the stay and found it easy to get parking right outside the apartment. Really spacious rooms and well equipped throughout. Bridget met us on arrival and easy check out process. A little noise at night as right next to the street but it didn't disturb us.

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. Really nice place to stay in Selfoss! Not a commercial apartment but rather a place that Irena and her family actually stay - really warm, cozy, and spacious! You can find everything you need; also a great place for kids!

My husband Geoff and I can't recommend Randover's place highly enough. It is perfectly located close to the center of Reykjavik and is lovingly and stylishly decorated. It has a private entrance and there is ample street parking if needed. The space itself is quiet, spacious, and light. It is located underneath another apartment but we hardly knew the other occupants were there. Randover is an avid reader and has an eclectic collection of furniture and books. Randover provided lots of local tips and the information about the space was easy to follow. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here as a family of 5, with 3 children young children. Ingvar was able to provide a crib for our youngest, and the other two had their own separate bedroom. They were also responsive and friendly to a few of our questions. Everyone slept well, kitchen was stocked with essentially needed for simple meal prep, and location was super convenient for walking around. The washer/dryer also came in handy. I would recommend this place for a family visiting.

Eyrún was incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful! 🥰 There wasn’t a vacuum cleaner or a broom, so doing a quick clean-up during our stay was a bit tricky, something to consider for future guests 👍 Still, the apartment was peaceful and filled with light, and having our own parking spot was such a great plus! It was easy to get around by car, and grocery stores were within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay in Hafnarfjörður and in beautiful Iceland! ❤️

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything that you need. A great, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and hanging line, nice warm shower and comfy beds. Good heating to keep you nice and warm on a cold evening and a short walk from all the shops and restaurants with a supermarket just up the hill. All you could ask for and very helpful host. The flat was wonderful! Modern , super clean and very quiet surrounding. 5 mins walk and you can find all kinds of shops and a park. Birkir responded super quick to any questions and recommended restaurants near by. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again :)

Wondering little condo right outside the busy city, perfect for a place to stay while exploring the region.

Beautiful condo, conveniently located on the edge of the city. Nice hot tub and easy to park, get to grocery store, etc. 15 minute drive into the heart of Reykjavik. Very clean and spacious.

Awesome place in an amazing location. Place has all the amenities and is very cozy and comfortable! Definitely recommend it if your looking to be in the heart of everything

I absolutely loved staying here. It was walkable to a beautiful park and the city center. Felix gave me amazing recommendations. His responsiveness was incredible and I couldn't have asked for a better host! I highly recommend staying here.

Great stay! Wish the weather wasnt so cloudy during our visit, we never did see the aurora outside our bedroom window. Maybe next time! Fun to watch the horses playing at the house across from the airbnb. And great location for food , Selfoss is very reachable, good center location for driving around to see Icelandic sightseeing
