Our two families totaling 10 people felt so comfortable in Staci's beautiful and spacious chalet. There was ample room inside for us to spread out but we also appreciated being able to all get together in either of the two living areas for board games and movies. There are various areas outside to relax whether it's at the beach enjoying the sun, sand and eagles or on the grass with a propane fire, a game of Bocce Ball and watching the local turkeys. Our beds were comfortable the house was very clean and well equipped for our 5 day stay. Staci was kind and quick to respond to all of my questions before and during our stay and checked in with us to see how things were going. I would not hesitate to recommend Staci's chalet and we hope to return next year!

We had a lovely stay! The place exceeded our expectations and was a great spot for my husband, young daughter, and I while we spent a few quiet days in Kaslo in March. The kitchen is simple but clean and well supplied. The living room is cozy and a great spot to hang out. It was an awesome location and very walkable to everything in town!

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

We had an amazing stay with Rose and Brett. We were so Happy with views of the Lake and the mountains. The Super clean and cozy comfy two bedroom unit. The Hot Tub is a 10 out of 10 saltwater!!! We were sad to leave after staying for 6 weeks. We can't wait to come back next year. What wonderful hosts. Our fur babies had the Best time on the beach We loved our coast line walks. Thank You So Much for making our stay perfect.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay. Beautiful home with amazing views! They are great hosts and you feel right at home when you walk in. Always responsive and great instructions to get there and check in. We will definitely visit again!

Great spot for a get together with friends and to have a relaxing time. Lots of communal space, great views. The house was clean with everything we needed to cook meals. We had a lovely stay!

Kat and Mike were amazing hosts. They went over and above to spoil us with local snacks, drinks and preferences that we enjoy at home. They communicated clearly, promptly and concisely. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fabulous BBQ that cooked the steaks better then I can at home. We loved how much thought was put into the little details, like extra comfortable blankets and pillows, games, bug spray, kids beach toys, and enough lawn chairs for our large family as well as enough water toys to allow us to explore the lake together. Lastly the book with local recommendations was very helpful giving us lots of information on what we could, see, explore and eat in and around the area.

This is a wonderful property in a fabulous location overlooking Kootenay Lake. 6 of us including a 90 year old father enjoyed the spacious open plan living area making extensive use of the kitchen. All of us thought the mattresses excellent for comfort! We had a number of things to ask James and he was endlessly responsive. We would happily stay here again!

Maria was such a delightful host. She greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed including some restaurant recommendations. The apartment was exactly how it is described and it was very well appointed with a lot of personal touches. We would definitely reserve this unit or another of her places if we return to Nelson. What a great little spot. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

We were having a problem with another location and needed to move immediately. I booked Maria’s spot and within the hour were settled in. She was very responsive and helpful and it was so nice to have no more issues and be cozy for the rest of the stay. Thanks so much!

My husband and I stayed with Nonie and Dale for 4 nights, and we count it as one of the best AirBnb experiences we have had! First, the house is very comfortable, small, but laid out well, and extremely comfortable! We never eat out, so I do a lot of cooking when we travel, and the kitchen had every amenity and utensil I needed, and then some! The house is situated on a hill overlooking the lake, and the views are stunning! The 4-acre grounds are a cacophany of gardens and flowers of every sort. Walking around them, and sitting on the porch, is like a continual 'zen' immersion! Birdsong and crickets serenaded us the entire time, and the whole experience was so soothing and relaxing we never wanted to leave! It is conveniently located close to some of the best hiking and biking in the region. Top it all off with two of the most friendly, hosts, full of information and background on the area, and this will go down as one of the best experiences we have had! We highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Kathleen's place. comfy beds, and great location. Very walkable town & fun to explore. We will have to come back in another season to check out the natural hotsprings as the road was impassable.

What an amazing view as you walk around the corner of the house. It's a little peace of paradise right here. The cottage was spotless. The location was perfect. The walkway from the road to the cottage could use a little work, more stairs needed I think. But overall the place is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the fall. Barefoot cabin was a wonderful getaway for me, my husband and dog. We had some great walks! The cabin was very clean and stocked well enough for our stay., very cute decor. The short drive into town was quite manageable . We will be back again if we come this way!

We enjoyed every minute. Booked this property solely for the waterfront access to the lake, but was so much more. Very well organized, beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Darrell & Lana are so very accommodating, and great at what they do. Thank you again.

Diana’s place was a perfect summer getaway. The lake access is easy and the balcony provides incredible views. The space is well appointed with great layout - we were two couples staying and there was ample room for all. The place was spotless and there were very helpful notes in the booklet. Diana was very responsive when we had questions. Absolutely recommend her place.

Laura and host were very helpful and did everything they could to help us when we needed it. There were extenuating circumstances with a forest fire that needed immediate help and they helped us as much as they could. Lauras place is beautiful.

The cottage is full of charm and character. Looked exactly like the pictures. Spotlessly clean. Many thoughtful touches including blankets to keep warm while reading a favorite book to fresh flowers on the table. Unbeatable view from the deck. We loved the access to the paved walking path that took us right into town. we were able to easily walk and pick up a few groceries. Also enjoyed a few meals at recommended restaurants in the welcome book and all were fantastic. Pride is evident all over with many original structures that have been upgraded and well cared for, the scenery in the area from the lakes to the variety of trees and flowers is simply amazing. The Cottage is a perfect place to stay amongst this friendly community to feel right at home during your stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place is great. It’s clean, comfortable, well stocked, well organized, and Sydney was friendly and flexible. The view is wonderful. The covered porch, yard, fire pit, and beach are all awesome. Our kids loved the books and toys. There’s plenty to do in the region. It’s peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back one day.
