Modern cabin at the peaceful end of a rural road along with its sister cabin, it features private access to Johnson Creek with the views of Mount Rainier, two bathrooms, a large washer and gas dryer, a hot tub, and a covered outdoor area with propane heating, fire pit and grill. The modern and airy living space, high-end furnishings, and appliances evoke a home-away-from-home feeling. We are just under 5min from town and 20min from White Pass. We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

The community offers private access to the beautiful Cowlitz River a stroll right from Heartwood and on clear days there are great views of towering Butte Peak.
