As featured on the NYTimes T list, this property is a "Kyomachiya", a traditional Japanese home over 100 years old. It has been revamped from a "Nishijin-ori" (traditional Japanese textile) factory. It is located in the traditional Kamigyo Ward, minutes walk from the Imperial Palace. We collaborated with award winning architects at Ikken to renovate this space, which now accommodates the comforts of modern life, while retaining many of the original structure and elements from its past.

You can use whole this house for 2 - 5people. *We are also running "Expo Hostel" near this cottage. We ask all the guests to check in at "Expo Hostel Ori", since the location of this cottage is a little bit difficult to find.
