My place has been a century-old traditional inn and recently renovated into a spacious Kyo-Machiya style inn named "KINKAKU-RO", where you can feel both traditional and modern sense, officially licensed by the local government. It is located at a quiet residential area in the north part of Kyoto within a walking distance from the famous tourist attractions such as Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Kitano Temmangu. Five free rental bicycles allow you to have an easy access to other nice spots.

A quiet lodging near Kinkakuji and Daitokuji

Thank you for opening my page! This house is located in a quiet town between Daitokuji-temple (Head quarter of Rinzaishu Buddhism sect) and Funaokayama mountain which used to be possessed by Daitokuji in Edo era. There is a big ground of primary school across the street and sunlight through the trees comes to second floor rooms. You can enjoy peace and quiet time in my house.
