Kirkwall: soggiorni in alloggi con caminetto

Two of us, plus our two dogs, had the Noddle to ourselves so we had plenty of room. It was exactly as described. Had everything you needed plus very comfy bed. It was lovely to have the fire going and also to sit in the conservatory which was so toasty. I even had a go at sketching and playing the piano! Emilys tea room is such an easy walk and we had a delicious supper with her plus coffee the morning we checked out. Thank you Tony.

One of the best holiday cottages on the island. Definitely will be our first choice in future.

Our week on Orkney Island wouldn’t be so great without that place. As we came with children one 3 mo, it’s perfect and it feels like home. Close to the town center and shops etc. Also a good spot if you want to drive and see most important sites on the Island. Clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cottage was absolutely spotless and you can tell it is lovingly looked after. A lovely comfy bed so a great nights sleep was had. Would definitely recommend to others if they are ever in the area.

Perfect location for catching ferry to Orkney. Beds were comfortable. Host very helpful.

The Barn is a lovely holiday home. Peaceful and in beautiful surroundings yet not far from Kirkwall and all the amenities you may need. The location is perfect for exploring the Orkney mainland and further. The Barn provides everything you need for a relaxing and cosy stay whatever the time of year. Clean, comfortable and warm. The laundry facilities came in handy. We were particularly happy to see the hen harriers and a short eared owl hunting in the fields out back of the cottage. Thank you to Robert and Janis for being 'super hosts'.

The house was lovely. It was well equipped and the facilities were very good. As Nancy had warned us, the house was not easy to find for the first time but, once we had found it, it was fine. The central location made it easy to get around but we did need a car to get to all the places we wanted to see.

Really beautiful modern property. Had everything I needed for cooking, including an air fryer!! Sammy was very good at communicating and helpful. Bed was very comfy and the livingroom is stunning. I would definitely stay here again no doubt about it.

Central but quiet, lovely cosy wee place. Decent parking was tricky to find maybe add it into welcome pack but she was amazing when we locked ourselves out with keys and my phone in flat!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was here for 2 weeks and was really happy with it. I didn’t realise there was no bedroom and it was just a sofa bed but that’s because I didn’t read the listing properly! The sofa bed was still very comfortable and there is enough space for sure. The area was a bit loud at night from teenagers kicking about but I think it must just be because of Easter break. Nice stay otherwise :)

The apartment was perfect for my stay. The location is ideal. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you could need. Everything was communicated very well, and the check in / check out process couldn’t have been easier.

Had stayed there for 1 night, Stevie was very helpful in explaining the property location and check in was very smooth. It looked exactly as shown in the pictures. Free Parking is available within 2 mins walk. Great host and good property if you are looking for a stopover while covering the North coast 500. Tesco, Lidl and few restaurants are nearby the location. 15 mins drive to the Lands End - John Groaths.

The flat is a little gem with lots of little added things to make it pretty: pictures, photos, nice curtains etc. When we arrived the electric fire and classic FM were on. A special touch. Super quiet. The view is amazing and it is only 10 minutes walk to Stromness. Super easy to access by car and then travel into the island. Highly recommend.

I have lived in this apartment fore three month now, and I have been really happy with everything. The apartment is nicely equipped, and everything is nice and clean. For me is has been then perfect place to relax, after long working days on projects in the local area. The host, Steven, has been a really good host. Whenever there was anything with the apartment, he got it fixed straight away. I can only give Steve and the apartment 5 stars.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Scarva. Elaine has thought of everything. The apartment is cosy, comfortable, and quiet - a perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring. Better than the images (if that's possible). A real home from home. We would love to return. Thank you!

I had a really lovely time at this home in Wick. Location is fantastic right on the water. I enjoyed a lovely walk along the cliffs overlooking the North Sea. Janice is a great host who was really helpful. Home was immaculate. I would very highly recommend!
