We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Niamh and Joe, they have a lovely home and it was a pleasure to stay with them. They are great Hosts and the location is very central, on the river front and ideal to get around the whole city. 5 stars all round👋

A very comfortable and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated, part of a traditional family farm. Mags and family made us feel very welcomed. Thank for the lovely homemade bread. The property is some way down country lanes so not easy to find but persevere, its worth it for the peace and rural setting. Inistioge village is very attractive and offers local walks; it is a few minutes by car. There are also walks from the property. For supermarkets, local services and all sorts of places to eat New Ross is nearest. Lovely countryside, well worth exploring which we shall aim to do another time.

Carol and Ian welcomed us with such special hospitality. They were so generous and helped us out when we were in a sticky spot. The room is great, huge with ample space and own bathroom. You really felt at home in their space. In a beautiful location close to nearby town and Waterford. Would absolutely recommend to anyone passing through!

Deirdre war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft war mit dem Bus vom Flughafen Dublin einfach zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und angenehm eingerichtet. Deirdre hat mit viel liebe Frühstück vorbereitet und uns auch mal vom traditionellen Essen was gekocht. Wir würden immer wieder bei ihr buchen.

Oh my goodness was a treasure! I had a particularly rough day with some car troubles and Nicky and her mother eased all my worries. I came a bit late and Nicky was not only gracious, but understanding and accommodating. I felt right at home and slept better than I have in a while. So well, in fact, I missed my tour in the morning. There is a very peaceful and zen feeling in Nicky’s home that is unparalleled. She and her mother were just lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer! So grateful I could come! Thank you both!

Noreen war die beste Gastgeberin auf unsere Reise in Irland. Sie war so herzlich und wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt. Ihre Scones sind die Besten die man in ganz Irland finden kann!! Absolut empfehlenswert!!

The only way it could've been better was if we were able to stay longer. Annette and Seamus were gracious hosts and they were fun to just sit and talk with. Outstanding breakfast by Seamus each morning with everything you could wish for. As a bonus it is a very comfortable five minute walk to the downtown core area and Kilkenny Castle.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Männern und hatten 3 Zimmer belegt. Alles an der Unterkunft war sauber und makellos. Ein Highlight aber waren Helen und ihr Mann mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Offenheit. Sie haben uns ein hervorragendes irisches Frühstück bereitet, uns Tipps zu den lokalen Pubs gegeben und sich viel Zeit für Gespräche mit uns genommen. Wir können Helen und ihre Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Helen was absolutely lovely and helpful. She picked up and dropped us off from/to the train/bus. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and comfortable. Her recommendations for restaurants were awesome, as well as things to see in town. She even gave us some recommendations for things to do/see at our next stop. The location was also great - very nice walk into town, especially if you take the path in the castle grounds. We would definitely stay here again!

staying with Jean was just what we needed after getting engaged over xmas. Jean is such a fantastic host , very engaging and helpful. the house was beautiful, comfortable, cleand and relaxing. without a doubt we will be returning.

Majella and Kevin have a gorgeous home and property and were delightful hosts. We appreciated their conversations and attention to details. We loved the Kilkenny countryside. The proper Irish breakfast was perfect!!!

I was in Ireland for 10 days with my partner and mom, and Helen's home was easily felt like the most luxurious experience. We arrived after a day of exploring Kilkenny, which is nearby. The home and grounds are both beautiful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly with tea, snacks, and help with our heavy luggages. Helen even helped us make a reservation to the pub right outside of the property for dinner. After having a warm bath and the best sleep, a full Irish breakfast was served fresh and with local ingredients. We only stayed for a night, but I wish we had more time! I'd most definitely come back someday to take long walks on the grounds and enjoy more of the sights. So thankful, and I can't recommend Helen's home enough!

I travelled quite a bit around Europe, and this is the first time i felt the need to leave a review just to show how nice the whole experience was. We stayed for one night, i forgot to warn Agnes about our time of arrival for the check in but she wasn’t bothered by it at all and greeted us with a big smile and a charming attitude, after our apologies we asked her if she could kindly show us around the family farm (has been in the family for around 250 years) and she showed us the cattle and the farm dogs, we also met her super nice Hurband and her daughter’s family who lives next door (also very kind!) who gave us some tips to visit Kilkenny, the morning later she also cooked us a delicious typical breakfast and after thanking her with some flowers we set off on our way. Long story short, as long as you show kindness, respect and love you’ll get the exact same treatment back if not more, truly rare and real people. (I put 4 stars on the location only for the lack of buses)

This was a return visit and it did not disappoint. Martina is very helpful with dietary requirements. Comfortable bed, toiletries provided in bathroom, water provided in room. We were very happy 😊

Gretta’s establishment was very peaceful and fun to visit for a one night stay, on our way to Galway. Would recommend for those who want to escape to the countryside. Thank you Gretta
