The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. Upstairs bathroom, en-suite double bedroom, 2nd double bedroom and a single bedroom .t’s a very welcoming village on the Shannon estuary with some great pubs, an award winning restaurant, & wonderful scenic walks. It’s very well situated as a base from which to tour, 20 mins to loop head, 40 mins to Tarbert Ferry to Kerry, approx 60 mins to The Cliffs of Moher.

Our home located in the village of Quilty is less than a 5 minute walk to the local shop, pub and church. It is only a few minutes drive to Spanish Point and Miltown Malbay and is centrally located to tour around all the lovely west coast of Clare. Also an ideal location to stay while attending weddings in the Armada and Bellbridge Hotels and so central for the Willie Clancy festival. We have stunning views of Quilty Bay, Mutton Island , the Aran Islands and Mount Callan.
