Lovely bedroom and bathroom which were very nicely decorated and very clean. Dinner and breakfast at the pub were very tasty and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for just off the A66 which made an excellent stop off place. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had an amazing time at this venue. Lovely people and even the locals who use the pub from around the area were so welcoming. Fantastic way to start the New Year.

Only negative is that we couldn't stay for longer! We stayed in the Garden room for 1 night at the end of our trip to the Lakes but will definitely be returning when we're back in the area. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, perfect for our springer spaniel - the dog blankets were extra helpful to have! Thanks again 😊

The Victoria Inn is a lovely quiet old pub (1840) in the small village of Kirby Malham. Very good hospitality here, very clean and bed linen lovely and crisp with fluffy towels! Full English breakfast excellent. Close to touristy attractions. Bit quiet perhaps if you want a restaurant, others pubs etc., within walking distant, this is a very small village with only one pub. If you don't enjoy hearing the church bells this place is not for you. Practise is on a Tuesday night, the night we stayed but even so they don't ring constantly and didn't bother us and we are not fans of campanology!! Otherwise, a lovely place to spend a night, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay! The room was clean and just what we needed, the pub was a lovely country pub with good food!

Pretty good location. Everything is just perfect considering the price, except the room is bit of cold, remember to bring warm clothes!

Booked at the last minute fory birthday - everything in our room was perfect and ready for us to check in early despite booking late in the night before - clean and tidy/the location is absolutely perfect close to the lake and the shops and pubs ect. Richard was a great host throughout and we even got to see the badgers in their front garden!

Excellent lodging in a lovely pub with a great selection of food and beers etc. Quiet location a couple of miles from Appleby centre. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for four nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! It's so peaceful and cosy. The cottage has everything you need, including beautiful views and a wonderful fireplace. An amazing place to relax and unwind. Warm rooms, a good shower, and a suntrap on the deck out front. There is good phone signal (and WiFi) if you need it, but it's a great place to be tech-free. Close to all of the Roman "attractions". Anne and Maurice were very friendly and welcoming. We will be recommending to friends!

Lovely comfortable room with fully equipped ensuite and tea and coffee facilities. Fantastic view of Latrigg from room 1. Basic dining room for breakfast and eating takeaway meals. Perhaps the standout feature of Ruth and James' place is the location though with everything Keswick has to offer being right on the doorstep: pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, park and even the lake shore being no more than 5 minutes walk from the house. There is plenty of off street parking despite the central location which is a real bonus. Ruth and James are friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Highly recommend and will hopefully be back one day.

Amazing location and really well located. Would definitely book again if we wanted to stay in this area. The garden for the dogs was a really good size with a nice enclosed area at the bottom of the garden for the dogs to run loose.

A fantastic cottage spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a wonderful position. The owners live next door and were very welcoming and friendly. Upon our arrival there was milk, muffins, 7butter and a bottle of fizz. A great stay and we would not hesitate to go back.

Sarah and Brian were super friendly, accommodating and communication was very good. We booked last minute and had everything we needed for a very relaxing overnight stay on our journey from Scotland to home in Chepstow. I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever in the area again, would definitely book to stay with them again.

We absolutely loved our stay here for a family weekend with the kids. So homely and clean, with lovely views straight into the water. Great selection of children’s games and everything you could need during your stay. Would love to return in summer for the water sports! Kimberley was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Box Tree Escapes! The lodge was a perfect base camp for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, with the starting point being only a 20 min drive away. After our mammoth hike, the hot tub was a real life dream. It was even companied with a spectacular view of the milky way at night! It would have been even better if the lodge had body wash to compliment the fantastic showers! We would definitely come again.

Great stay at Little Winton, ideally located for our visit to the area, delightful, beautifully presented property. Super hosts, highly recommend.

I have traveled solo and felt save. This air bnb has a real cosy home feeling. I traveled to hike Scafell Pike which was not far and a beautiful scenic drive too. Local shops were 10 mins walk away, it was lovely being in a peaceful area also. I would highly recommend, the welcome pack is beautifully done, very clear and of course welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)
