The Isabella Lakehouse

Our largest rental home, the Isabella Lakehouse, accommodates up to 7 guests. With 2 bedrooms and 1 master bath, it offers a 3rd queen bed located in a drop down sun room off of the living area. Enjoy a spacious living area, kitchen, dining area, 4 burner stove, full oven, propane grill and a dishwasher to make clean up a breeze! There is a wrap around deck overlooking the Kern River Valley as well as our very own vineyard! Great cabin! Please note a 6% bed tax is included in the nightly rate.

The Cozy Quail

The Cozy Quail - a charming mountain cottage amid the pines. Sits on a large, flat, beautifully landscaped lot with a concrete driveway. Open floor plan with knotty pine cathedral ceilings in great room and kitchen. Cozy wood burning stove. South facing rear deck is great for outdoor dining. Relax and enjoy the tranquil scenery during the day and the starry skies at night. Just a short walk to the Pine Mountain Clubhouse and Village Center with shops and dining. Numerous hiking trails nearby.

Kern River's Sirretta St Cottage - Hear the River!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. With only a 10-minute walk, you are smack down in the middle of downtown Kernville where you can visit the museum, fly fishing shop, multiple rafting companies, the brewery, Ewings, and my favorite, the Pizza Barn! The river is right across the street from the house with access less than a quarter mile away. The area has so much hiking and water activities that you will never run out of things to do... Deer regularly near the house!

Red Roof Retreat

Charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath with a warm, barn-inspired vibe that sleeps up to 6 guests. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views, this cozy retreat offers comfort and plenty of character. Whether you're cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, exploring the nearby lake or river, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. In the evenings, watch the sunset and gather around the firepit for s’mores under the stars. Pet and family friendly, the Red Roof Retreat is sure to be your next favorite getaway!

Sequoia Cottage

The Sequoia is a cozy two bedroom and one bath cottage. A great choice for couples or a family and is pet friendly. There is a spacious living area with sofa and additional dinning space. It has a kitchen, private patios and your own private propane grill. The Sequoia cottage is located within walking distance to popular restaurants and stores as well as within 1/4 mile of the Kern River. Cozy Grande View Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cozy cottage with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. While this adorable home is the perfect getaway for you and the family its location is key. You are only: Less than 1 mile from the historic Whiskey Flat Trail & downtown Kernville w/ river access, 7 miles to Lake Isabella, less than 20 miles to the Seven Tea Cups Trail, the Trail of 100 Giants & Shirley Meadows ski resort. Hike, Bike, Climb, Raft & Explore the National forest!

Sierra Cottage

The Sierra is a 2 bedroom 1-bath accommodation for 4-5 people. One bedroom is a walk through to get to the second bedroom. Therefore, this cottage is not necessarily recommended for two couples. Rather, it is great for a family with young children. Enjoy a kitchen, dining area, front and back patios, propane grill and picnic table during your stay. The Sierra Cottage is within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Please note that there is a 6% bed tax included in the nightly rate.

Welcome to our cottage. You will feel like you’ve been transported into another world once you are here. Jet liner views of Kern river valley and surrounding mountains. View of Lake Isabella. Gentle breezes flowing through. Deer strolling by. You will unplug and rediscover yourself here We are 10 minutes away from lake Isabella and mighty Kern river. Cottage is right at the foothill of Sequoia National forest, the gateway to incredible hiking, mountain biking and offroading.

Garrett’s Lookout

Relax in the scenic countryside of Tehachapi with gorgeous views & abundant wildlife. Bring your horses, stalls and trails available to ride or hike. Enjoy spectacular sunsets while sitting around a fire. 3 wineries, the world famous Tehachapi Loop along with a covered bridge leading you to 2 local restaurants nearby. Lounge in the cactus garden with a cascading creek. Sleep soundly on a queen size tempur pedic adjustable bed and a full size futon for extra guests.

Consider asking about the small town events scheduled ... Enjoy a touch of European country living in the mountains to escape from the hustle and bustle world. We are a green home using non chemical cleaners offering chairperson friendly features and air conditioning. The front and back yard decks offer more year round outdoor living. Forestry Dept rules, no open fires or charcoal burning! We do not permit smoking !
