Kennet and Avon Canal: soggiorni in case vacanze

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

Had a really lovely stay at this property! The apartment is very spacious and in a great location. The instructions from the host on how to check in and find the property were very clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in an ideal location!

This little estate is beautiful, the wildlife was amazing, I went with a toddler and my husband and very pregnant. Walkable playgrounds and a trampoline, swimming pool in the spa is lovely inside outside pool. Perfect for little one. Really enjoyed the peacefulness. Bank holiday weeks are very busy and everything requires to be booked so we were grateful to have several days without the peek of the holidays. House has lovely bedrooms. Was a much needed break after having to cancel a holiday to Greece due to pregnancy complications we picked this little village and was totally worth it. Day trips out to Cotswold wildlife is a worth a trip and Cirencester (we’ve been a few time is still a beautiful little town) worth bringing some essential you may need if cooking within the house.

This was our third stay at Lois’s place, albeit the first in the eco house, as opposed to the barn. The house was both comfortable and quirky, qualities we have come to expect from our charming and artistic hosts. Unusual pictures, books, design features - one is entertained at every turn, while the leafy surroundings (the beautiful garden and driveway as well as Redland Green itself) make it all worthwhile. Lois or her husband Paul are always on hand to help you with any questions and have a chat with you at the same time. We heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a bit different and off the beaten track yet within walking distance of decent shops, cafés and restaurants.

we had a lovely stay at the house. It was bright, spacious and peaceful. the beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. we made good use of the pools, lakes and restaurant/bar on site. the pizza hut was a great hit with our kids.

Probably the best air BnB I’ve stayed in 🥰 Me and my Sister thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fiona’s home is absolutely stunning. A little bit of paradise. The weather was beautiful so we were able to make use of the pool area and enjoy the stunning scenery. We loved the walk to a local pub for our evening meal in the village of Easton-The Chestnut Horse-highly recommended! The short walk took us over the River Itchen-which is pure heaven-so clear and full of wildlife ❤️ Our old Dad used to say “go in Itchen, come out scratch-in” 🤣 We were originally from the area so such a delight to be back home in Hampshire for a few days! Fiona is lovely and so friendly. Everything was perfect 👌 We hope to be back again soon. Thank you so very much 🙏

Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

My second stay at Anne’s place and just as good as before. Anne left me what I required for breakfast which was kind of her. The room and bathroom are ideal for a single traveler. The local pub only 10 minutes away is a good spot and served good food. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Anne.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous view. The house was clean and tidy and everything we needed was there. We had a great time celebrating our friend's 40th birthday. The pub was a 2 mn walk from the Airbnb. Jenny welcomed us and was so lovely and friendly. Stow on the Wold is beautiful Cotswold little town with many cafés, restaurants and gift shops. Some of us are planning to come back at some point with our families. I highly recommend this place

Host was helpful and communicated regularly. Location is superb for visiting the many attractions of the City. Beds comfy and style was attractive. We stayed during a sunny week in April, the roof terrace is a real sun trap. Visited New Forest and Stonehenge as well as the Cathedral.

We stayed as a group of 7 adults and very much enjoyed our stay. Nikki is a great host; making sure everything was in place and that we had all information on getting set up and how to work things. She was very responsive throughout the stay. The house is comfy, well equipped and great fun.

We had a great stay in this property, our host was very helpful and friendly. The property itself was extremely clean, beds were super comfy and the property had everything we needed for our extended stay. We really enjoyed our weekend stay. The town centre is a perfect distance away that you can walk in in about 10-15mins but far enough away to not feel like you're staying in a busy town centre. Louise sorted us parking permits out and we easily parked 3 cars in the local streets, not right outside but this wasn't an issue. The house is great, 4 good sized clean bedrooms, a lounge, dining area and kitchen. Louise had left us a few goodies and some milk as a welcome gift, Tesco is a short walk away to grab any other bits you need and we had a lovely meal out locally too, plus lots of recommendations of good places to go. Thank you for a very lovely weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at Burrows Court, a beautiful house in peaceful and nature rich surroundings. As a diverse group of adults, young children and dogs it met all of our needs for a special Easter break together. Samantha is a fantastic host, going above and beyond in making arrangements and providing literally everything we might have needed as a group. And the small touches were hugely appreciated…cakes on arrival, treats for the dogs, bunting for a birthday party. Wow. We are all already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you :)

Perfectly located cottage in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. Clean and well equipped. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Fabulous works from the doorstep. Thank you for a great stay!

I would strongly recommend this home stay. It had everything we were looking for in a day trip with our family and kids. There was self-check-in and check-out, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could imagine in a country house. We felt like we experienced the English countryside during our stay. The pictures don’t do justice. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the home itself was top-notch, especially the decor. Barry did an amazing job with the interiors. Barry was great at communication, and the detailed descriptions were really helpful! We would like to thank Barry for keeping the house the way it should.

We were in Dorset for a large extended family get-together in a nearby village. Our own family group consisted of 6 adults and 3 children between 4 and 7 yrs old. The house is very light, bright and spacious and everyone could find space to escape the others when required! The kitchen was very well equipped. We had beautiful weather and were able to choose from several outdoor sitting areas - you can follow the sun around. There was plenty of room for parking. The children loved playing out in the extensive garden. The area generally is beautiful - very quiet at night. If you are looking for somewhere for a relaxing family holiday, I would recommend.

This must be a contender for the most beautiful property on Airbnb Cotswolds. Idyllic peaceful setting, surrounded by woodland and fields. Utter tranquility. yet proximity to a picture postcard country pub and with Cirencester just 10 mins away. The thatched annex is spacious, luxurious and has exceptional attention to detail both inside and out. Very well laid out kitchen with high end fixtures. We cooked a couple of evenings, indeed our best meals of the trip. Becky, the charming and elegant host, greeted us upon arrival. I did text a couple of times with questions and the reply was instant. Her family was in residence but maintained a very low profile during our stay, barely a curtain flicker. I generally try to throw in some sort of negative comment to a review to show balance but in truth am too in love with the property to find one. If the configuration of bedrooms and bathroom suits your requirements then I unhesitatingly recommend this property.

Lovely house beautiful location specially for country walks the pub over the road was very nice. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and the cold plunge pool. Would definitely stay there again.

We had such a lovely stay at Chanokphon's house. The property was really had such lovely rooms and spaces and the gardens were incredible. It is such a great location family stay, or stay with friends. Chanokphon was really friendly and pro active throughout the booking and our stay. She gave great recommendations and really helpful instructions. We would definitely stay there again and I recommend her property to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area.
