Cabin in the country on private fishing ponds.

A private cabin located on two private ponds which are great for hanging out or catching bass, catfish, perch or crappie. The large pond is shared with other properties but there are flat bottom boats that can be used to explore both ponds. This cabin is great for getting away from it all. It is located just outside of Rusk, TX so it is still only about a 5 minute drive to town. There are speakers and lights outside for night time enjoyment and a fire pit for an evening fire. A secluded retreat!

Cabin 1 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built in 1940 by Mr. Taylor as a gathering place for his family. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the piney woods of east Texas. Cabin is typically quiet but road construction is by the property currently. Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub.
