Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Self-contained studio flat in beautiful location

The Bedsit is attached to our beautiful Victorian family house, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kendal, hidden from sight within its own grounds, with a stunning garden. It has plenty of private parking and is only a short walk from the station - an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. The Bedsit is a private apartment, accessed through my costume workshop. We enjoy hosting visitors from all around the world, hoping that they will feel comfortable and welcome during their stay.

Our attached home Annexe (small bungalow) was built to a high standard four years ago (2016) and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac located about 20 minutes walk from Kendal centre along the old canal cycle way. The facility comprises:-OWN ENTRANCE , lounge/kitchenette,shower room, double bedroom , dressing 2nd bedroom , off road adjacent parking , dedicated private outdoor space and a secure area for cycles. We are ideally suited for trips to the Lakes, Morecambe Bay and the Dales.

Gorgeous 1 Bed Cottage - Tranquil - Lake District

Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.

Braeside Studios- Garden View Room

Braeside Studios is a detached stone built building adjacent to our family home. We have 2 purpose built, self contained studios each with private entrance door, ensuite shower room, drying cupboard, mini breakfast kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toaster) and seating area. Both our rooms are clean and contemporary and focus of comfort and practicality. The garden view room has a double bed and the riverside room has a king sized bed. You are welcome to share our garden.

A private flat which compromises of a large suite of rooms on the top floor of my Georgian Grade II listed house in Kendal town centre, quietly tucked away at the head of an historic cobbled yard. . 1 double bedroom and one king bedroom plus a huge adjoining living room (with basic kitchenette and double sofa bed) as well as a modern bathroom all for your exclusive use during your stay at Colour House. Wonderful Victorian townhouse situated on one of Kendal's oldest streets. Although the house is very conveniently situated being only a 5 minute walk into the town centre it is also a very quiet location, a few minutes away you can find yourself at the highly acclaimed cultural venue the Brewery Arts Centre not to mention the rest of Kendal which hosts a fantastic array of unique cafes, bars,restaurants and shops
