What a unique and wonderful place to experience the splendor of Kachemak Bay!

Wow! We are literally speechless. The location of this Bungalow is arguably the best in town. Each direction holds breathtaking views. It really is a wonder of nature. Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Loons and Eagles all lived and played in this area. We saw more of each than we can count. We got to meet a baby octopus, pet a starfish (lightly of course!) and just interact with tons of Sealife and animals. The B&B itself was beautiful. The bed upstairs was comfortable, it was amazing to wake up to the sea outside our window. All amenities were greatly appreciated as well. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was easy to access and we used a fire pit as well. All in all- we cannot wait to plan our next trip here. Thank you very much!!!

Amazing cottage right in the heart of Alaska. Such a beautiful property with all the amenities you could need. Will definitely stay at this accommodation again, hopefully in the near future.

Lovely cabin, was very clean and had everything needed and lots of extras. Really loved the bath tub and the fact that bathroom was fully stocked with bath salts and body scrubs. Also loved the home made cookies. Would stay here again. Thanks Gladys for making my weekend retreat so special!!

Great place with beautiful views across the inlet. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Beautiful home for our family with two babies. It was very comfy and free of clutter for the little ones. The host was very friendly. The house had everything you could need. One thing though is that if you need to use the hose, the host needs to turn it on manually.

My stay here was magical. It was the right amount of rustic with all the comforts of home. The view of the lake and sunsets was tranquil. The place stayed warm even on the coldest night. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was respectful and responsive with lots of recommendations on local activities. We were able to use the community pool and gym, which was included and so great on the rainy days. If you have kids make sure to take them to the community pool! We were by some great fishing spots too. I would come back and stay here again and again.

My husband and I normally car camp when we come to Homer, but we decided to do a last minute long weekend and wanted to stay inside this time. Candice’s place was so cute and in the perfect location for all the things we did. Great view of the ocean from the apartment. We had an amazing time and will definitely book again.

This was an experience we will never forget (and will never stop talking about). TLDR: Worth the money. Amazing staff. Clean and comfortable. Insane views. Endless activities. Considering everything included, it is more than worth the nightly rate - especially with all activities being on your own schedule (or lack thereof). The staff were so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Simon pointed out and stopped for wildlife during the boat ride - even tried to get us close to the puffins we spotted! Our island host Haley was AMAZING. We were pleasantly surprised when they took our bags from the dock to the boat and then to our yurts - such a nice touch and start to our stay. The yurt itself was bigger than expected, so cozy, and very clean! The views..insane. The abundance of activities and ability to use the equipment whenever you would like was perfect. There is plenty to do regardless of if you prefer to be adventurous or relax, or both. Cannot wait to come back!

Such a beautiful place & so close to the beach and the slough for birdwatching. Amazing new deck to relax on in the sun! You can hear the Sandhill Cranes. Super comfortable bed and great lighting with a brand new interior. Coffee maker grinds coffee beans and brews. New appliances and wonderful hosting! Chris gave excellent directions and was very responsive. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful place with amazing views and plenty of beds for larger parties

Chris and Marja are incredible hosts and Eagles Nest, absolutely magical! Surrounded by water, a short walk to picturesque Halibut Cove, and a kayak and hike to Gerwingk Glacier, its location and charm is second to none. Every detail was considered and we felt at home as soon as we arrived!

Fantastic property - hard to leave but we’ll be back. We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this is truly special. So much beauty and the property is gorgeous without being over the top. We feel like we really experienced Alaska in an authentic and non-touristy way. The Tidepool Cabin is fantastic. Beautiful views in every direction and so eclectic. Kristi, Julian, Tomas and Elliott were perfect hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate. The kayaking was spectacular and daily interaction with sea otters and eagles was incredible. Thank you Kristi for a most excellent adventure!!!!!!!

The Cottage on the Bay was unbelievable! Upon arrival we commented the only thing that would make the cottage better was to face west vs east..until sunrise the next morning. WOW! Every morning was spectacular! Being 10 min away from Seward was great (the dirt road was not in the best shape but we're from MI so we are used to roads w/ potholes). We cooked most breakfasts/dinners (the kitchen was great for meal prep) it was nice to have lunch in town. The Safeway in Seward was stocked well and we found everything needed even gluten free items. The cottage was a perfect home base for a jam-packed week of activities starting w/ a 6 hour cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park (we saw a humpback in Sept amazing). The Two Lakes Trail in Seward was our warm up for the Exit Glacier hike. The Alaska SeaLife Center was great for our 1 rainy day! We also rafted the Resurrection River, all in Seward. Jet skiing in Whittier was crazy fun too! The cottage and Alaska did not disappoint!

We had a great time at the Asian Motif lodge. It comfortably fit our group of 9, and we were able to cook and use the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there was overall plenty of space. Access to laundry was helpful because we were on a longer ski trip. Our group was comfortable walking to Alyeska, albeit it was a little longer of a walk. The host was very helpful and communicative and gave useful advice! Thank you for our memorable stay!

Connie was very welcoming and always responded very quickly. I would recommend staying here.

This house on the slough is so fun to stay at. Pretty special place in Seldovia!
