Keflavík: soggiorni in appartamento

Seven minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. Great parking at the church for the cheapest parking price in town and incredibly secure. Average price was about half price or better of any hotel downtown. Savings allowed me to have a rental car and do some of my own touring. Parking was great on site at the apartment. Very clean building and facilities. YouTube was great for learning how to use the stove and wash washer/dryer.

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Arni’s home. It is a very well positioned apartment, within easy walking distance of good restaurants, cafes and the best public swimming pool, hot tub complex. Very comfortable beds and spacious kitchen.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

I had the most amazing stay at Linda’s place !!! The view is breathtaking in million dollar apartments, close to everything ( like a 1 min walk ) the place is absolutely stunning next time I come I’ll only stay at Linda’s 🥰

Great apartment located a short walk from the main streets and centre of Reykjavik. We hired a car for some of the stay and found it easy to get parking right outside the apartment. Really spacious rooms and well equipped throughout. Bridget met us on arrival and easy check out process. A little noise at night as right next to the street but it didn't disturb us.

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. Takk fyrir, Sigurthor & Roald! I look forward to staying with you again. Best Airbnb experience ever.

What an incredible stay.!! Well appointed accommodations. Amazing views of both the mountains and the ocean. Very modern and clean space. We came with 2 boys and they loved playing in the lawn area, on the piano and stretching out on the couch after long days of hiking. The location is conveniently located to a few markets. Short drive into the city and we enjoyed the tranquility of the location. Apartment was very secure and high up in the building with fantastic scenery. The kitchen was well stocked and we felt right at home. Laundry was a plus and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. Check in and check out was a breeze, and parking was free and ample. We absolutely loved our stay and are so thankful we chose this apartment for our Icelandic Adventure.

This apartment was the very best choice for our stay in Reykjavik! We stayed a bit over a week and felt welcome and home right away; everything was as described. Randver is such a great host, very helpful and friendly and always responded very fast. The location was perfect for us - the street is very quiet, parking is possible on the street right in front of the house (we had a rental car and no issues finding a parking lot anytime) and you can reach the inner city and other places by foot in 5-10min. I can only recommend the apartment unconditionally! And it has an interesting collection of books and music. :)

We stayed here as a family of 5, with 3 children young children. Ingvar was able to provide a crib for our youngest, and the other two had their own separate bedroom. They were also responsive and friendly to a few of our questions. Everyone slept well, kitchen was stocked with essentially needed for simple meal prep, and location was super convenient for walking around. The washer/dryer also came in handy. I would recommend this place for a family visiting.

Eyrún was incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful! 🥰 There wasn’t a vacuum cleaner or a broom, so doing a quick clean-up during our stay was a bit tricky, something to consider for future guests 👍 Still, the apartment was peaceful and filled with light, and having our own parking spot was such a great plus! It was easy to get around by car, and grocery stores were within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay in Hafnarfjörður and in beautiful Iceland! ❤️

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

We loved our stay. Hosts were quick and helpful in their responses. They left us some chocolates and champagne for our anniversary. The space was clean and more spacious than we originally thought, private and we felt right at home. My wife was sad we left! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Tinna’s place feels like home away from home❤️ The family is very welcoming (including the cats!), the apartment is cozy and the location is optimal with a walking distance to the city centre, bus terminal, university etc. Tinna also cooks great icelandic food😋

A very nice little apartment. Clean and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet. Erna was very responsive and her instructions about entry and ground transportation were clear and very helpful. The next time I’m in Iceland, this will be my first choice for an inviting place to stay close to the airport. Thanks, Erna!

We had a fantastic stay at Oli’s apartment in Reykjavik! The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the amazing coffee machine made our mornings even better. The location is great, just a short walk from a public swimming pool with thermal baths, a supermarket, and a bakery with delicious bread and viennoiseries. Oli was a wonderful host. He sent us a thoughtful list of recommendations for things to do in Reykjavik and the surrounding area, which we really appreciated. He also checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. One of the highlights of our stay was spotting the Northern Lights right from the kitchen window, truly unforgettable! We would love to revisit Iceland in the winter (dec-feb) to enjoy the snowy scenery, and if Oli’s place is available, we would absolutely stay there again.
