Perfect location for skiing Gore Mountain. 4 min drive. Great Adirondack feel. Ewa checked in a few times via text. Wanting to be sure we were warm enough in the very cold temps. We were toasty. We invited her to stop in one eve to say hello and see our German Shepard. Shes a big lover of these dogs. She stopped in with some treats for him and say hello. Unit is very clean and spacious. No problems, would recommend for skiing.

Had a great week at Chad’s property. Felt right at home and had all of the amenities we needed for our family and dog. Close to downtown, plenty of space, clean and he was very easy to communicate with and fast to respond. Appreciate it!

This was an excellent “get away from it all” experience. I gave a 4/5 in the cleanliness category only because it’s a cabin in the woods. All in all the cabin is clean, but I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone. You will have a few 8 legged party crashers on occasion. There is no AC so if you’re one that can’t do without, this may not be for you. We had a good week of cooler nights so we didn’t mind. Garbage has to be taken to the dump at a minimal cost, but they aren’t open every day. Plan your trips wisely. Charles is great and communication was easy. He does everything he can to make your stay perfect. The vast amount of activities that he provides is amazing. My favorite was paddling in the canoe and the hikes. Cell service is touch and go but who cares? We traveled with two teenagers that now know what “unplugged” and appreciation for the outdoors really means. They swam, boated and fished the entire time. Would highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

This Airbnb deserves 5 stars across the board in every category. This home was the perfect stay for a group of friends or family to getaway and relax for a weekend (or longer). We stayed here during the winter, but everyone loved it so much we were saying how we should come back in the Summer! The entire house is so comfy! The couches, chairs, blankets etc just made it such a nice relaxing stay. Also the arcade / movie theater basement was so much fun!!! We really loved that there were smart TVs in every room that could be logged into whatever streaming service you prefer. Also the bathrooms were immaculate, absolute dream bathroom near the master bedroom. I would also love to mention the mudroom, this house has a no shoes policy which is super easy when they have a beautiful roomy entry way with HEATED FLOORS. William and Giselle have really focused on the little details in each and every room and it really shows. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Eric and Kathy's home. It was the best of what Airbnb does, allowing you to stay in someone's beautifully designed and appointed home in a beautiful part of the world. The photos cannot do it justice. We often stay in Airbnbs where we rent the entire house, so I often worry when we are sharing a space. But Eric and Kathy were so thoughtful and the way the rooms were set up we had as much privacy as we wanted, while also getting the chance to meet these wonderful people and when needed, get help with directions and suggestions. They were such wonderful hosts, it was even better than having a place to ourselves. Possibly the most beautiful kitchen I have cooked in. :) Highly recommended.

James and Hannah's Adirondack Vacation Destination Lodge on Fern Lake was absolutely incredible! For our bachelor party of ten, it was spacious, well furnished and absolutely beautiful. I'm honestly going to be sharing this listing with anyone I know who loves a cozy cabin vibe, because it really went above and beyond.

Picture perfect stay! The cabin is “as-advertised” base on the photos and description. The location is quiet and serene. Majorie was super kind and helpful. She was available for our needs all time throughout the day. Highly recommend taking a canoe out on the lake and going for a swim across from the property. An easy 15 min paddle across will take you to some nice rock outcroppings with crystal clear water for a nice evening dip. Town is a short 10 min right for one night out for a good meal. Def recommend staying on this property!

This cabin in the woods is a wonderful base for exploration of the Adirondacks. If you love the outdoors, I highly recommend this airbnb as there is plenty of wild to explore within an hour drive in all directions. The house is cozy with everything you would need to live there. Myself and 9 of my friends fit in this house and we had a wonderful weekend in the adks.

We loved our stay at Cary’s place! It was so peaceful in the woods yet so close to town and all of the activities. Cary was very helpful especially with the amount of snow we got! We would definitely return!

This is an absolute gem among the woods and water. Peaceful is an understatement and serene doesn't quite do it justice. It's a place to step back, slow down and unplug from all your cares, worries and realities. You'll get the basic necessities and the time to unwind and relax. This is a well placed, well thought of and we'll out of the way home away from home. But in it's tranquility you'll not be far from the everyday needs of everyday life as town is a quick drive over the mountain. I highly recommend the Cochran cabins for a peaceful escape from your everyday life.

Ted was the perfect host, being present, available, and responsive - I felt sure that IF we needed anything he would have been there to help out. The cabin is perfect for a little get-away. The ping pong table in the basement was an added bonus for a little family tournament. The location is peaceful - we didn't walk the grounds, but hope to be back to do so another time - and close to the town/shops/ski hill/etc. So much to do in the area! Thanks Ted!

Beautiful apartment to stay for a few days to explore the ADK. I met Bekim when I arrived. Very friendly and made me feel at home. It was very easy to check in.

My time at LLama House 🦙 was simply amazing! From start to finish, it was a seamless and cool experience. The host, David, was incredibly welcoming, ensuring I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The space itself is a hidden gem – impeccably clean, beautifully decorated with all of the furniture and modifications that he hand built, it was everything I needed. The attention to It was also nice to be greeted by his wonderful dog, Wilson. I felt that it was a cozy retreat after a day of snowboarding. This location is ideal, offering both tranquility and accessibility. I enjoyed the local charm and convenience of nearby attractions. Plus, the nearby creek added a magical touch to my stay. Communication with David was excellent, and I appreciated his local recommendations. It's clear that David take pride in creating a special experience for his guests. In summary, LLama House exceeded My expectations. If you're looking for a flawless getaway, this is the place to be!

If your planning on doing any group activity in the high peaks area, this is the spot to stay. Located right off the main trail head to Algonquin and Marcy peaks. Place was cozy, clean, and much larger than I originally expected. Great experience all around.

This is a new house and everything in it was in perfect condition. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you would need and even had a meat thermometer. The house is very isolated but the road was plowed properly so no issues getting in or out. It's a short drive to North Creek or Gore Mountain. The place was spotless when we checked in as well. There is no cell service at the property but the wifi worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my second year booking this property and I was very happy with my stay. Host is easy to reach with questions, and the house is warm and comfortable. Thanks again, see you next year

Fantastic spot! Meticulously maintained cabin that has everything you need. We were two families with kids and it worked out nicely. ‘Went in the winter, would be happy to come back again in the winter or in the summer or any season, it would be lovely any time of year!

Our stay at Rachael's Posh camp was fantastic. The attention to detail in every space is unmatched. Beautiful foliage all around and a couple of trails on the property :) I have never felt so in touch with my body and so mindful. My husband and I really needed a place to clear our minds and relax and this was perfect. Wish I could live here! Will definitely be returning in the future :)

The host is wonderful and warm. The cabin does offer true feel of Adirondack vintage cabin that has added a kitchen and bathroom. I would go back again.

Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of magical! Meghan was an incredible host—she responded quickly and was so helpful with all of our questions before the trip. The cabin itself was stunning and perfectly located for easy drives to places like Lake Placid. Pictures do not do it justice. The property was breathtaking, with trails leading to creeks and ponds right on site. It felt like we had our own little nature escape. One of the loveliest touches was the handmade shampoos, conditioners, and bath gel—they smelled amazing and added such a personal feel to the experience. As a family of five from Miami, seeing snowfall was such a treat! The views were absolutely unbelievable, and even with the snow, the roads were always cleared, making travel stress-free. The playroom downstairs was a hit with our family—pool, TV, and a cozy space to gather and unwind. Plus, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all got a great night's sleep. This place is an easy 100/10.
