Keene is a major destination for hikers, climbers, skiers, anglers, artists and other adventurous and creative types. Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Our 30' yurt is tucked into the pines overlooking our pasture with mountain views out across the valley. Located in the Jay, it's a perfect base camp for summer hikes, bikes or paddles in the Adirondacks. Sheep and chickens graze the pastures Grab some farm meats for the grill after a big day in the mountains and enjoy a meal in our new outdoor kitchen space after a hot rinse in the outdoor shower. The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
