We had a fantastic stay at the Tahaja Guest Tower! It was a great way to end a four week trip in Nepal. The Tower itself is so beautiful, with a very nice terrace to sit outside. Nice beds, great shower, coffee and tea. The whole property is beautiful, quiet, with a lot of green and flowers. And still just a 20 min walk to Bhaktapur. Puneshwari and Mohan make delicious breakfast and dinner, and are so helpfull. Contact with Lena was also very easy.

Ukeshs hotel was in the perfect location to explore Bhaktapur. Everything was walkable. Room and bathroom were good. Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely. We would recommend.

We had such a blissful time at Milla Guesthouse - It was our first holiday together as a new family, with our 9 month old son, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The guesthouse is gorgeous, and our lovely room had everything we needed - we particularly enjoyed sitting up on the roof terrace and watching the sun set over the valley. I travel internationally a lot for work and this was the best guesthouse i have ever stayed at. My husband and I also loved chatting with Laxman dai and Sanu aunty, who were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and took so much care playing with our son. We really appreciated it! We can't wait to come back again.

Lovely stay at Eagle Nest Hotel! The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. We tried food from their restaurant, which was amazing! Overall the hotel is located nicely with a stunning view of the montains and the rooms have everything you need.

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

I'm very grateful to stay at Dhruba's place for two weeks. Your family is Amazing! Positiveness, happiness, caring, enjoying the life together. That's what Dhruba's family is made from. Foods in Menuka's kitchen is always delicious and fresh. Little bit spicy but that's how it is best. I'm gonna miss Dhal Bhat ;( Seema's tea is also the best in a world and middle hills views from balcony are stunning beautiful. During the stay I also met plenty of other family members, villagers and amazing travellers. Everyone here were always friendly for me so you really feel yourself welcome. We even decided to do trek together with this group of italians, went to Langtang for week and left our stuff to guesthouse :) If you want big city lights, noice and drink beer until morning, Dhruba's house is not for you. But if you want to stay countryside beautiful lovely village, see real Nepal culture and enjoy the life, this is your choice number 1. good clean space, wifi a bit intermitent, but worked for meetings. its in the darbar area so you have to pay the entrance fee, but then the value of this accomodation comoensate that expense. staff is super nice and helpful, overall i recommend this place
