the Bose Complex is just a lovely trip back in time. since it's a living antique of a place, there are a few minor inconveniences, but all surmountable. and the charm and ambience are more than worthwhile. the kitchen is extremely well-equipped, while the bathroom is slightly less comfortable due to age and layout (but it's fine). first aid kit came in handy. the grounds are lovely, in a haven of peace amid the chaos. Tara always answered quickly when we had a question, and the groundskeepers were super helpful, even getting us a car to our next destination, which saved us a lot of worry. thanks for everything

The homestay was soo great and very nice the hospitality so good. As a girl i came singly it is so secure and well behavior with guests.Overall, it's a great choice for a budget-friendly and authentic stay.

I would genuinely like to state that mere words are not sufficient enough to describe the beauty that is present all around in this property. The nature all around; beautiful trees, singing birds, pesky insects, colourful butterflies the smell of fresh mud - it encapsulates everything that one requires in having a true "getaway experience". I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tara's property in Tnmalai. The caretaker was very genuine and helpful, respectful and assisted whenever called upon. There is as much privacy as you require and when you don't, you can sit in with the trees and breeze and enjoy yourself to the tunes of nature's disarray. I enjoyed everything about the stay, no qualms whatsoever. I hope everyone of you reading this gets a chance to experience staying here atleast once. All thanks to the host, Tara, once again. I would recommend this place to any one planning to visit Mysore bc it is a safe spot and great location. The room is well equipped with amenities that is fit for anyone.

We had a wonderful stay. The cozy and inviting atmosphere of the home truly made it feel special. Every need was promptly attended to, whether it was an extra blanket or fresh towels, ensuring our comfort throughout. The thoughtful attention to detail made the experience wholesome and memorable. The only feedback we have is that having an additional functional bathroom would add even more to the overall comfort.

Found the place peaceful and relaxing. Well priced considering we stayed there during the peak Christmas - New year holidays. enjoyed our time there.

The homestay is conveniently located near Auroville, offering peaceful surroundings and a very welcoming host. All the popular Auroville cafes are within walking distance, and Serenity Beach is just 3 km away. We stayed for five days and felt right at home with all the necessary facilities. It’s recommended to have a rental vehicle or your own transport for easier commuting from this location.

The breakfast served every morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, a perfect start to each day. The caretakers were extremely polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Even the owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We were so comfortable and happy here that we ended up extending our stay to a full 8 days! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great hospitality and stunning views. Would definitely love to come back!

I'm immensely grateful to have been at the farm stay. Originally it was for 4wks but extended to 6wks as being there felt like a beautiful retreat environment I didnt want to leave from! I'm so very appreciative for Annalakshmi and her family for their warm welcoming hospitality and kindness in that i could stay for the time I did. The farm stay is also a close walk to many local shops and to the beach (40mins). Being at the farm stay has been a highlight of being in India♡

we had one of the most memorable week during our stay at Kariappa house. everyone was really helpful and courteous. breakfast was amazing! the property is the main highlight, super peaceful and lush green and the lap pool was cherry on the top.

Wonderful stay with my family and beautiful scenery surroundings. Great place place to spend quality private time in Kotagiri. The home cooked food was delicious and must try pallipalayam chicken & fish curry. Host and manager very helpful during my stays.

Approximately 30kms from Ooty, 20 kms from Coonoor and 2kms from Kotagiri. This place is on the main road itself with a few views of the tea estates. The caretaker Subeer showed really good hospitality. The place as well as the food menu is a little expensive but totally worth it after you experience it. Nisha is a good host and addresses all your queries.

A well maintained property, speaks colonial times in every detail. We stayed in honeymoon suite and loved the furniture, cookware, fireplace and what not, all period correct. The breakfast served at in-house kitchen "yellow door cafe" was yum. The staff was super friendly and we felt home especially travelling with a one year old. Very well accessible from city centre, approach roads are a bit narrow though. They don't serve lunch or dinner but you can order in from nearby restaurants. Only negative is the outdoor kids play area which is due for maintenance.
