We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. The price include shuttle from Mt.Fuji station, mineral water, ice, breakfast. You can also enjoy the outdoor extreme sauna for 2,000yen per person and BBQ equipment rental for 1,000yen per person. We are a family run mountain lodge in a beautiful, isolated location. The lodge is in a national park, riverside, at the base of mountains towering 1300m above. Hiking trails start at the front door, swimming in the river during Summer is deliciously refreshing. See the seasons changing in Autumn on a walk to Ichinokura (2 hours round trip) or Tanigawadake Ropeway (10 mins walk) or climb Mt Tanigawa from the base. The snow in Winter is of excellent quality and plentiful.
