Kandy: soggiorni in alloggi con lavatrice e asciugatrice

A very beautiful apartment placed in a lovely serene area yet close to the attractions. It met out expectations and beyond. A very friendly check in and check out, homely place. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Nuwara Eliya. They even provide a heater for a decent price. All the amenities were maintained very well.

Tout simplement fabuleux ! Villa extrêmement paisible, au milieu de la végétation luxuriante et des oiseaux face au fleuve. Très belles prestations, même au au delà de nos attentes. Il faut absolument que je mentionne Pushpakhanth, le gardien de la villa qui vous emmène partout en Tuck Tuck, toujours présent à la moindre demande et sachant se faire discret. Et la chère Gajanthusitha, cuisinière hors pair, et très gentille. Les échanges avec eux ont aussi permis de mieux connaître les us et coutumes du Sri Lanka. J’ai également pu bénéficier, grâce au réseau de Nimal, à des cours de yoga quotidien à la villa de très bonne qualité avec Mahesh Kodikara (qui pratique aussi la méditation) et à de merveilleux massages Ayurveda avec une masseuse qui se déplace également. Le tout dans un cadre extraordinaire. Ce séjour fait parti de nos plus beaux voyages.

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

Beautiful place to stay in even though it is a little difficult to get to, but the views on the way there are spectacular! Asela was such a welcoming host and very responsive! We didn’t order any food from him because we were out most of the day and came back late, but he made wonderful tea for us every morning and night! Thank you for making our Kandy stay memorable!

I am English staying with young family.. 6 of us a laf minute booking. Much to appreciate from RUPUL as a Barrister at the Bar in Kandy/Colombo and country’s high Courts . I’m a forever returning visitor. The sitting room so stylish and crammed with not just law material! The breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for taking 2nd one with is to sight see early. This place is ideal if you want a break from the city. The caretaker-cum-cook, Udaya, is very efficient and helpful. He has joined here quite recently but you wouldn't know it given his familiarity with the place and his way of handling any requests. The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive. Although Rajeev was travelling abroad and Sharmini was in Colombo, they kept in touch over with us to ensure we were comfortable. Kandy is about 30 minutes away. The last kilometre or so of the road to get here is very narrow but the road quality is good (there *is* a rough stretch just before the property but it is barely 100 metres). We had a power cut on our last day there that lasted for a long time. (This is apparently unusual, and it is true we didn't face any disruption during the earlier two days we were there.) While it was inconvenient, the emergency lights that are there in each bedroom helped a lot. Udaya whipped up a full dinner for us despite the power cut.

It’s very rare to come across such a special Airbnb like this one. Although the apartment itself is well designed and has a stunning view that pictures can’t do justice—it’s really the hospitality of Kunil and his family that was the biggest highlight of my stay. Kunil was incredibly helpful in sharing his local recommendations and made sure I was comfortable throughout. He even picked me up from the bus stop and dropped me off in the city after checkout. Believe the rave reviews of this place. Do yourself a favour and book this Airbnb, you will not regret it!

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.
