It was exactly what we expected. Nice relaxing getaway in this beautiful lake house with a great game room. Jenni was always available for us if we needed her. Can't wait till next time.

Jerri and her whole family were truly amazing! Not only did they make sure I was comfortable but also that I was safe, which I appreciated with my whole heart. The fur babies were the sweetest things and so relaxing to play with (especially the cuddly cats). A beautiful and clean house with the kindest people you’ll meet- it’s the perfect Airbnb.

This is an extraordinary Airbnb experience. The Homestead is beautifully appointed, Cris and Randy are exceptional hosts, and the country setting is beautiful. Cris prepares a beautiful and thoughtful breakfast, all locally sourced. It was a delightful stay!

Deb is an outstanding woman. She and her dog are very friendly, shes a great cook and very hospitable. Beware, noise is a small issue, other people stay there so there really is a blanket repect for anyone else in the house - she will stand up and fight for a peaceful environment, any time of day. We were laughing too loud, and it was disruptive to the household, and i respected her efforts to be considerate to all tenants. Favorite quote? "If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!" - Deb

We want to come back to enjoy all the spaces Judy made available to us. We read books in our private parlor, brought our dinner to the old fashioned porch, sat on the bench by the statuary near the koi pond, ate breakfast in the conservatory imported from England .... There were a lot of small luxuries that a for-profit hotel could not afford to have. We came to Marshall for a historic house tour, and felt we spent the night in the best house. Her house had been on previous tours.

Karen’s place was very clean and nice. I only stayed for the night after a wedding in the area so I wasn’t there long, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean!

We travel a lot for our sons wrestling, this place was one of our favorites. Can easily accommodate a family of 4-6. The bedrooms are upstairs so if someone needs main floor they’ll want to use the couches, which are plenty wide and very comfy!! Josh was a great host, in contact right away and makes sure the temp is to your liking prior to arrival. He also allowed us late check-out so we didn’t have to feel rushed on a Holiday. We got to enjoy some fishing on the lake from shore but wasn’t quite warm enough to be on the water yet. Would highly suggest this spot for a quick summer get away!

A quick overnight to move my daughter into her dorm.turned into a mini mom/daughter vacation because of our lovely stay in Kara's place. This place is almost on K College campus, and is so thoughtfully appointed with amenities, coffee, snacks, lovely toiletries, etc. It's as clean you wish most places were but aren't usually, nothing to remind you that someone else just stayed here a few hours ago. Very thoughfully decorated with little lamps everywhere so you don't have to stumble around in the dark getting up at night or coming home in the dark. Such a thoughtful host. Highly recommend this place!

Kara’s place was a perfect spot to stay for a couple nights while in town skiing at Bittersweet Mountain Resort…was super close to all the cool breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants in downtown Kalamazoo…highly recommend!

My Husband and I booked this location to delve into Imago Therapy- specifically co-creating our relationship vision, as shared in the book, “Getting the Love You Want”- by Harville and Hunt. Kara’s location and space was intimate, quiet, and had literally everything we needed and some. From full stocked towels, robes, toiletries, spices, pots and pans, ice, a Buddha, Tea, Coffee maker, and more… The decor is aesthetically pleasing and nourished to the lessons/therapy we engaged with. As well as our state of BEing. When we walked in, it felt like a home away from home- yet the perfect love nest. We cooked meals in the strategically placed and stocked & organized kitchen. Listened to music and worked on our marriage in the cozy living room space. The couch super cozy and perfect for cuddling. I love how the spaces are nice separated in such a quaint space. Kara as a host was a delight to engage with, and the response time impeccable. Definitely a space we will book again.

We had a lovely time at Toni and we felt at home I love the decoration and there was everything we need. Lovely neighbours downstairs We felt included and care for.

Our second stay with you was every bit as great as the first. Thank you for being such a great host, and for such a comfortable place to stay!

Kara is so lovely and super responsive and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It reminded me of my Aunt’s bed and breakfast growing up — so cozy and surrounded by beauty. Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Patrice’s place. It was the perfect location for catching a show at the Franke Center. Patrice was welcoming and kind and she left many thoughtful touches to enhance our visit. We adored the warm and eclectic decor around the apartment. We highly recommend this rental for a comfortable stay in Marshall!
