Kalahari Desert: soggiorni in hotel

We had an amazing stay at the Salty Jackal! Great house and atmosphere, we immediately felt at home. The perfect spot to be in Swakop, with everything within walking distance to explore the town. Next time we will join the surfing groups when we have more time, but will definitely be back 🤙

We were so excited to get to Swamp Stop after a long drive from Maun. We felt very relaxed and were treated with a view of. River otter and crocodile within the first few hours. The staff was efficient and the food delicious. We recommend the kingklip. The room was adequate and very nice to have aircon and a fridge. However, the water was full of silt, making bathing difficult. We were told this was a problem they were working on. The true highlight was our two day trip to the delta from Swamp stop. It started with a beautiful boat trip down the Okavango river with Pepere island our destination. The island was home to elephants, baboons, hippos and a variety of amazing birds. We were blessed to have the best guide ever. . Frog was raised in the delta and was able to identify all birds, animal tracks, trees and plants. He took us on a Mokoro ride to a neighboring island and led us on a wonderful bush walk. He was able to spot animals in the bush way before we could. We recommend Swamp Stop as a moderately price alternative for seeing the delta. Thanks to Lance, for suggesting the trip to the island.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Good dinner recommendations. The garden has to be seen to be believed. Finding a garden like that in a city was a pleasant surprise. We had a large group of 8 and were fit inbperfectly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was luxurious, clean and such a treat. Ingrid took great care of all our needs while we visited. We enjoyed a game drive with Petrus and appreciated the beautiful surroundings and variety of game. Breakfast was delicious and it definitely made me regret not having dinner at the lodge the previous evening.

Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich und die gesamte Anlage amchte einen sauberen und sicheren Eindruck. Jason war gut zuerreichen und sehr Hilfsbereit. Als kleinen Stop wenn es Richtung Ruacana oder Angola geht, sehr zu Empfehlen

Wonderful place, very clean with a fantastic view on Chobe river! King size beds are amazing as all the team working there. Very good breakfast, dinner and laundry service even if not pre booked. Thanks a lot! We needed all these things after a selfdriving in Moremi and before Vic falls.

Olebogeng hat uns eine gute Wegbeschreibung gegeben um die Unterkunft zu finden und hat immer schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet . Das Hotel ist wunderschön und ist einwandfrei ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und die Küche sehr groß und mit allen Vorrichtungen ausgestattet. Es gab ein Missverständnis bezüglich des Preises, was aber zum Glück geregelt werden konnte.
