We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

We used Stacey’s home as a base for our wedding weekend. It is in a rural location but the home is easy to find. It was neat, clean and had stunning views. The home is fully equipped which came in handy. Stacey is also super responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Thank you to Silv and Steve for a wonderful getaway! Silv and Steve were very welcoming, kind and responsive. The prepared pizza dough on arrival as well as being invited to explore the wood shop and feed the alpacas was a special touch. The cabin was very clean and tidy. It was beautifully finished with lovely woodwork by Silv and Steve. The wood fired pizza oven and hot tub was an extra touch. The marked walks on the property were fun to explore. The view was lovely. Overall fantastic stay. We will definitely stay if we head back to the area. Would highly recommend it!

We stayed here for our babymoon, and it was absolutely perfect! The incredible views were breathtaking and made our trip so relaxing and memorable. We kept thinking to ourselves how fortunate we were to have the view! Waiheke is awesome and waking up to such stunning scenery each morning so restful. The hosts were so warm and friendly—they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Their communication was excellent from the start, making check-in and planning seamless. They made us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views and wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! Great location, just a few minutes walk from many harbourfront restaurants, cafés and bars and great to have the sunrooms overlooking the water Kim was brilliant, helpful and fast to communicate and we had a great stay The included Gym and Pool are 30 seconds walk from the apartment and that was a bonus Thanks, Kim

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. Coincidentally, I lived in Sarah's property about 15 years ago, so booking a stay was a no-brainer. It's ideally located for Mt Eden Village, Eden Park stadium, and on all bus routes into and around the city. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was comfortable, and the smart TV has all the apps for watching local TV, or streaming all the usual services. Sarah was very accommodating, and responsive - probably the most responsive host I have had throughout the world. Would highly recommend Sarah's property.

Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

Joanna's place was filled with care and consideration. Lovely retro decor, luxury bed linen and great colour combos. A sanctuary close to the kauri forest. We felt right at home and enjoyed cooking our meals in the well thought out kitchen with plenty of utensils. Joanna also organised massages for us on the last day with Feur and Jed. And they were exceptional. We had such a lovely nurturing weekend away!

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved it stay at Cindy’s place! Communication was great from the start, instructions for the driveway and access to the keys was simple. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen big fridge and freezer, so many outdoor seating areas as well as a large indoor table and multiple places to just sit and look at the pristine view. Well suited for a group of 10. Beds were all made, linens, towels and pillows were al great. It was so handy having everything provided and ready for us on arrival. With a big storm the night we arrived we had a nice time having dinner at the table, then sitting in the lounge with plenty of seats for us all. The stunning weather the next day meant we could enjoy the amazing outdoor space. Very walkable to Hatfields beach, also to Orewa but we chose to drive there as likely to be picking up groceries! A place we would book again for sure! Thank you for having us!

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive. We will definitely be visiting again! Perfect family getaway :) 10/10 all round!
