And get ready for truly spectacular sunrises. If you're lucky you might even spot a humpback whale/ dolphins. A swimming beach is a short walk away, and you can drive to the town centre in 5 minutes. There is a small bedroom with a double bed/ensuite and a loft with an Ecosa sofa bed. There's no tv.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located three bedroom home base an easy 5 minute walk to the town centre. Whalewatch, bus and train stops, beaches, Ecozip and cycle trails are close by. Ample off-street parking for vehicles and up to a 6m boat. Huge sunny western deck with BBQ and lawn area. Newly renovated with new kitchen, bathrooms and interior finishes as of August 2024. Mountain and sea views. Bike wash area and secure bike storage. Bedding, sheets and towels included.

Wairewa Guest House, Kekerengu

Superb value guest house in an idyllic location. Wairewa Guest House is the perfect place for a stop over on your travels. Newly Double Glazed Total peace and quiet only 5 minutes off S H 1. Approx 1 1/2 hours from the ferry and half way between Blenheim and Kaikoura. Divinely comfortable super king bed with quality bedding. North facing and separate to the adjacent house where we live. Your privacy is important to us. We are happy to accommodate late check in to suit your travel plans.

Shore Break

Centrally located on the beautiful Kaikoura Esplanade with the beach and stunning mountain views at the end of the driveway. Just a short walk in either direction along the new beach path takes you either to the Pier Hotel, or past Hiku Restaurant and Encounter Kaikoura Cafe if walking towards the town centre which is approx 15 minutes away. Easy walk to the playground. The Cottage is small but cosy with everything you need, recently renovated, a secluded place to relax and enjoy Kaikoura.

Black Mountain is nestled in the foothills of the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges, 6 km north of Kaikōura township. Designed for short and longer stays, the home is private, peaceful, and set in a beautiful rural landscape. The bedroom, living and dining spaces, bathroom, and deck enjoy mountain and garden views, with glimpses of the ocean from the grounds. On arrival, you’ll find a small selection of freshly prepared provisions — enough for a simple breakfast or two, with our compliments.
