Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

It is very individual and situated in a quiet , rural setting. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The village of Martinstown has an excellent pub and shop. The Nest is our charming GROUND FLOOR STUDIO apartment in a converted barn from the 1800’s. Set in “Broadchurch country” in the village of Symondsbury, it is a short drive to Bridport, West Bay & several beautiful beaches along Dorset's Jurassic coast. With a 16th Century, Michelin star pub 500 yards away (open Thu-Sun) it sits at the foot of the famous Colmers Hill. The area is well known for walking. Perfect for guests of weddings at The Tithe Barn, an idyllic place for couples.

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

One of the richest areas in the UK for hill forts and ancient earthworks. Very houseproud so regrettably no pets and no smokers.
