Erica is a great host. She provided great recommendations for our first trip to Lake Martin. The lakehouse is tucked off a quiet road on a quiet lake cove. We enjoyed mornings & evenings on the screened in porch. The location was perfect for easy visits to Auburn, the marina for a boat rental, and Smith Mountain for a hike. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely, well maintained lake home on our favorite lake! We enjoyed the comfortable clean house and fabulous outdoor access to the lake and lake views.

Very quiet and peaceful getaway with our grown children. Ryan was especially gracious in accommodating our arrivals/departures with wedding events greatly driving our schedules! Beautiful inlet on Lake Jordan with barely any human sounds until Sunday am with a family playing across the cove. Those sounds were joyful. The previous mornings, birds were singing all around. The roses were blooming all over the hillside. A very comfy home with many seating options in shade, sun, screened in, and on lakeside. Kids swam and did kayak. We all were very pleased with our stay!

The place was perfect for a family gathering. We had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing long weekend. Highly recommend !

Our stay was perfect. I actually live close to the listing- but I needed a bigger space to have a family gathering after Christmas. I needed a bigger space enough space for everyone to be able to stay the nights and stay up and enjoy games and have breakfast and whole days together. Best investment ever!!The kitchen was sooo well stocked with seasonings, coffee, condiments. We had 9 for our big Christmas dinner perfect space with dinnerware and silverware for all of us! The living room was comfy and well appointed. Lots of games! Every bedroom was wonderfully comfortable, with great beds, linens and good pillows We were there in middle of winter. But this location still had enough water to fish from dock!! And Kayak! Great fun for kids!! One of our favorite homes ever!!!

Rebecca was very helpful with instructions and any questions we asked. Her house is wonderful for large groups and very clean. Was a perfect rental for our group.

A few friends and I stayed here for my race at Lake Martin (the home is a short 20-min drive to Russell Crossroads), and found it to be the perfect space for relaxing! There's a convenient ramp from the driveway area, where there is more than ample parking for several cars, to the screened-in deck, which was a lovely spot for coffee at breakfast and a sunset cocktail. Inside, it was clean and comfortable; the kitchen has every item you might need to make yourself meals there (a Publix for groceries is only 12 mins away), the bathrooms were spotless, and the beds SO roomy. The highlight, of course, is the access to the lake; you're less than 20 steps to the dock where there's a table for you to set snacks before hopping in the water. The property is on a quiet inlet so there's no heavy boat traffic- a great spot for paddleboarding! We had a great stay at Justine and Bruce's property. They were so easy to communicate with and very kind hosts.

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and the location was great. Jonathon was helpful and very responsive to any questions and it was an easy, low stress booking. We hope to be back!

We had the best weekend at Jan’s lake condo. We rented a boat at the marina that’s just a few minutes from the condo. Our teenagers enjoyed the boat for two full days, giving us lots of time together that is rare with busy summer schedules. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals, and there are several great restaurants close by. We went to Chucks and The Landing at Harbor Point with a quick boat ride from the condo. Jan has done a great job of updating the condo with top notch appliances and furnishings! The two balconies were nice for watching the boats as well as geese flying in on the water. We had an incredible weekend and will definitely return!

We LOVED this rental so much we extended our rental for the rest of our spring break. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and head to Florida but stayed 6 days at Stephanie and Chuck’s. It is a beautiful property. My kids fished and swam every day off of their fabulous dock. We rented a boat and had the best time on Lake Martin. Stephanie recommended a wonderful marina 5 minutes away. There is so much to do and see on the water. Our dog loved being able to run around, met the neighbor dogs and lay in the sun by the water. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen is awesome. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. They really thought of everything. The laundry, extra bedding, corn hole, grilling, the fire pit, even a swim mat for the kids. The beds were so comfortable! We all felt right at home. Stephanie and Chuck are so kind, very responsive and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed staying there. We were very close to the ballpark and other amenities. Very clean and well taken care of.

I stayed at Brian’s condo for several weeks, and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo itself was lovely and the view did not disappoint! The Wi-Fi was excellent and definitely sufficient for working remotely. The full size washer and dryer made laundry a breeze, and the unit was stocked with a few extras that really made a difference. Brian had great local recommendations and was super responsive when I reached out with a question. I would absolutely stay here again- in fact, I’m already planning my next visit!

Cute, quiet place with a lake house feel. Furniture is comfortable. Kitchen is extremely well stocked, they even provided spices. Nice dock to relax on, and the water is deep enough that you could dock your boat or swim, early and later in the year. I'd go back again for sure.

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

Our time visiting the cottage was a great experience. The hosts left detailed instructions everywhere that were helpful and kept us mindful throughout our stay. The lake view directly from the backyard was a joy to see each day and my husband loved being on to get his boat right on the water at a very close baiting ramp but could park his boat after fishing at the house boat dock. Great bbq places nearby as well. Over all a great place to take your family and friends for a quiet getaway.

Great location! Peaceful and quiet cozy lake cabin is exactly what you get. The patio in the trees is a perfect place to unwind and entertain. Swimming area and pier were clean and spacious. The whole cabin was well-appointed. Karen is responsive and very helpful with any of your questions and needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My family and I were looking for something different this Thanksgiving, and Mike’s home provided exactly that. It was peaceful, and the clear instructions made everything easy. The house had everything we needed to feel right at home. The only minor issue was that the master bedroom faucets ran cold water in the mornings, so we used the other bathroom instead. It wasn’t a big inconvenience, so we didn’t contact Mike about it. Mike went above and beyond by providing games for our family and all the essentials we needed. The home was quiet, comfortable, and perfectly accommodating. We’ll definitely book with Mike again!

This place is great for a silent and private get away. Its in a very private area were its quiet and full of nature surrounding the area. Great porch seats and grill for cooking and living a great lake experience. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a great stay at this little lake front cottage! We enjoyed the chairs on the end of the dock and watched the wildlife surrounding the lake. Very peaceful! We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t spend all our time at the property, but it was a quiet and serene spot to rest and relax for the weekend. We would stay again if we are ever back that way!

We had a wonderful time here during our Cozy Retreat with the girls! The space and location were perfect for a relaxing weekend. Stephanie is a wonderful host that responded quickly to our questions. There are so many kitchen appliances and cookware that added that extra touch to our stay.

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Keith's place! The listing was very accurate and was even better in person! Fabulous kitchen with everything you can imagine, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and so well appointed with just great touches, such as charging stations at each side of the bed, TV's in every bedroom, great blackout drapes if you want to sleep in and nice quality towels. The living room had really comfortable furniture, and beautiful fireplace, great tv. Then there is the outside. We sat out on the back porch every morning to have coffee & were entertained by all the many birds, chipmunks & squirrels. We enjoyed the firepit nightly and cooked a few of our meals on the grill. It was so peaceful on the lake & such a beautiful setting! I highly recommend Keith's place if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. We truly could not have had a better stay anywhere else.
