Modern purpose built 2-bedroom holiday home

Regional finalist featured on BBC Scotland Home of the Year 2023. Skeir a Lidda (meaning the flat skerries) takes its name from the sea shore immediately below the property. Constructed in 2021 it has been purpose built to the highest modern standards. Conveniently situated, Skeir a Lidda is easy to get to and is a perfect base from which to explore the islands. While the annexe is connected to the host's own house it is self contained and private. Friendly help and advice is right next door!

Shormary Cottage enjoys a wonderful coastal location, enjoying spectacular views towards Dunnet Head, the Pentland Firth and Orkney Isles . Direct access to the shore is offered where you can explore rock pools, build sand castles or gather shells on the beach below. Why not pick up the binoculars to watch the wildlife? Is that a seal, a dolphin or even a whale? As for the birds (too numerous to list here!) the favourites are herons, buzzards and puffins. HI-00301-F
