The house was beautiful, the hot tub was amazing! It had all the amenities we needed! Sarah was wonderful, very quick to respond to messages and very helpful!

This Airbnb rocked!! We stayed for 3 nights and still felt like there were activities we hadn’t done as a group yet. If you want a place that isn’t too far (only 25 mins from Fourth street live) from the city while also enjoying lots of time at the actual Airbnb itself, this place is for you! 10/10 would highly recommend!!

Great listing just as described. Beautiful interior with all the amenities well-stocked and prepared. Melissa is a great host. There were some minor issues encountered during the stay but Melissa was always responsive and resolved them in a timely manner. 100% will book again!

Perfect place to stay after long days out on the bourbon trail. Comfortable bedrooms, stocked kitchen, super fun game room and beautiful serene out door area. We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful home, immaculately done! Had many touches that made you feel welcome and at home. Stuffed animals for my younger girls and cute night time story was a beautiful touch. Snacks, beverages and everything you could need in the kitchen was a bonus. Quick responses to any questions! Nicest Airbnb yet and if we attend the same event next year will most likely book again!

Great stay for a quick vacation.

The place was lovely and wonderfully centrally located. They were incredibly responsive and gave amazing check in instructions. The home while beautiful did have an interesting layout with the bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for an Easter getaway with some friends and our dog. Everything was really clean, the kitchen was really well stocked, it was really quiet, and the space was perfect for all of us. The screened in porch was amazing…I wanted it to come home with me! Overall, great stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

Highly recommend! The house was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the charm of the house. Beds were super comfortable! We did a little cooking and I found the kitchen to be excellently appointed which is usually not the case! I didn’t need to use the skillet, knife or cutting board I packed. We had 2 dogs with us and the riverfront park is super close. Easy walk to restaurants downtown. We brought a couple stadium chairs and the 4 of us enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings.

This was our second stay at Guest House on Story, and was definitely as good, if not better than the first. Kim is an excellent and responsive host who strives to make sure your stay is exactly what you need. We had a large group of adults visiting Louisville to celebrate a birthday weekend, and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The area has fun walkable bars, breweries, and cocktail lounges, along with restaurants! Highly recommend Tartan House and Biscuit Belly. Guests should be aware as others have mentioned that given the location in Butchertown, there is occasionally a notable smell outside. It very much depends on the direction of the wind and day/time of the week. Do know though that you cannot smell this inside the house! We caught a whiff outside here and there, but definitely not the entire time. Highly recommend Guest House on Story, and I'm sure we will stay again when in Louisville with a large group.

Coury's place was exactly as described. It was also VERY clean, and the beds were comfortable. I loved having a parking spot in the garage and easy access to the carriage house through the garage. The location was very close to the expo center. It was a very easy commute every day including Friday during morning rush hour. My daughter and I loved the space and would return.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Our family gets together over the Easter weekend each year and our primary entertainment is bike riding and hiking. There is a large park that is super close to this home that has both a wonderful paved bike trail and multiple hiking trails so this worked out perfectly for us. It was also easy to reach downtown Louisville for additional biking and walking trails. Communication with Ross was great!

The house was really nice, great location. The only thing I had trouble with was the lock box.

The house was beautiful and exactly what was described. We messed up and locked ourselves out and they took care of that very quickly for us. Very nice area in downtown. When we go back again we will see if it is available and book there again. Thank you!

Our stay at Lynn’s place was enjoyable from beginning to end. Extremely pleased with the entire experience. I will definitely return to her home for future accommodations while visiting the Louisville area.

Tyler’s place was an absolute beauty! To be in a home that is set up for morning walks, overlooking the Ohio river is so peaceful. There were books in the home and had the opportunity to begin to read one of them….I will be purchasing it as soon as I get home. You are 8-12 minutes from restaurants and activities in Louisville in addition to multiple quaint locations in the surrounding area. I hope to get the chance to stay here again in the near future. We stayed here while visiting family in Louisville. We have 2 toddlers. The space was great and relatively childproof, which I always appreciate when traveling. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking or bike rides. Tiffany was a very responsive host. Overall, it was a good find!

The place was really clean and exactly as described. Lot of thought was put in the interior and setting up of the place. The neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. If we are back in Louisville, we will definitely would love to stay here again.

In combined trips, my friends and I have stayed at something like 30 Airbnb's - this was, by FAR, the best experience we've had. A couple of glitches that were immediately addressed, home was clean and, well, home-like. It is a lovely space in an exceptional setting, and we were made to feel both very welcomed, and at-home during our stay.
