Had a great and comfortable stay. We were in town for races at the nearby Martinsville Speedway. Location is secluded and quiet. House was clean and orderly.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The place was super dog friendly and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin was 20 minutes from Roanoke College, where we attended graduation weekend. Everything in the house was so well stocked! We enjoyed the using the grill for cooking, the fire pit for hanging out after dinner, and the large dining room table for playing games at night. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

We loved our stay at the toasted marshmallow! It was the most relaxing week. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. There are plenty of towels. Plenty of toiletries. The beds were comfy and everything was super clean. The cute little library and outdoor spaces were super nice and cleared around. The wine fridge is a wonderful touch and it was nice to keep our drinks in so they didn’t take up room in the fridge. Landon was a great host and communicated everything we needed to know and was up front about everything including recommendations on where to go and what to eat. It’s true that there is no cell service at the house but there is WiFi and as long as you have on WiFi texting you’re good. I’d say the only thing is that there are minor cosmetic things that could be fixed or upgraded but honestly it just adds more character to this adorable dome house. Would love to go back especially once the weather gets warmer and I can sit in a chair next to the creek ❤️
