Located on beautiful Damariscotta Lake, "Loon Lodge" is a rustic cabin from another era. Fall asleep to the sound of crickets and frogs and wake every morning to the call of the lake's many loons. The cabin is 30 minutes from Augusta and 15 minutes from Damariscotta. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy climbing the Camden Hills-a quick 45 minute drive from the lake. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, the people, and the location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

A rustic traditional Maine cottage on Damariscotta Lake, this seasonal rental features a private shorefront area with a deck, a jetty (shared with neighbors) for swimming and boat access, and a private dock with canoes and paddleboat. The cottage offers a cozy retreat on a beautiful lake, with the many attractions of midcoast Maine only a short drive away. There is a three-day minimum stay. We cannot accept third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must stay at the cottage.

One of 4 lakefront cabins, large screened-in porch, kitchen/living room, 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests, claw foot tub in bathroom, large outdoor common shower. Guests bring their own linen and towels (can be rented for $10.00 per person). Wood stoves for cool evenings. Swim, kayak, canoe, row boat; fire pit for evening fires and roasting marshmallows. Minimum stay is 2 nights off season; however, if you see openings between bookings of less than 2 night(s) you may send in a request.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
