I love Bardstown and wanted my cottage to look and feel like what is best about the town- historical charm mixed with modern amenities. Clean, cozy and comfortable; it is a space that I hope you find enjoyable while visiting Bardstown.

Canton Cottage- Modern Farmhouse 2 Bedroom

The Canton Cottage Built in 1901, this freshly remodeled two bedroom home is the perfect place to lay your head down after a long day. Located only 4 minutes from wal-mart and the rest of amenities that Salem has to offer. This home features new appliances, a workspace, two full beds, one queen bed, a sectional couch, and a quiet country setting to relax in. We have ordered new windows and are waiting on them to be installed. In the mean time 2 of our windows are cracked but sealed off.

Lake access is less than a 5 minute drive, and there is a community pool just down the road when in season, and other community amenities you can enjoy. This quaint little cottage is located on the Bourbon Trail of Kentucky. A mere 9 minutes from Six-Mile Distillery. Located in the heart of an Amish community. We breed, show and raise registered myotonic goats. We have a fall and spring kidding season so if you book during that time, expect to see baby goats frolicking in the fields. The cottage is on a functioning farm with horses, cats, goats and a donkey. We offer overnight housing facilities for your own equines as well.

It sits in a natural setting on 5 beautifully landscaped acres. There is a large parking area for those who may need to bring a trailer. Bathroom and bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Peaceful..in a rural setting but inside the city.

Historical "smokehouse" home built in 1800's. Enjoy a piece of Bardstown history with modern conveniences. Please note that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is located on the first floor. In keeping with the original architecture, the stairway is somewhat narrow. Security cameras are on the outside of the property.
