A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Studio apartment on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, built in 2018. There is an elevator in the house. The apartment has a 160 cm wide double bed. The rent includes sheets and towels. Only fragrance-free products are used in cleaning the apartment and washing the sheets. Detergents are also odorless. Sievä, pieni mökki kirkasvetisen Kalkkistenkosken rannalla. Oma rauha on taattu ja luonto maisemineen vertaansa vailla. Sauno, ui, pulahda paljuun tai käy kanoottiretkellä. Tai huilaa vaan riippukeinussa. Uimaan pääset laiturilta tai suoraan rannasta. Ranta on aika äkkisyvä eli ei sovellu ihan pienille lapsille. Palju lämpiää saunan terassin vieressä. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet on mökillä valmiina. Autolla pääsee pihaan asti. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Villa Sairio: vanhan ajan idylliä HML asemantakana

Sairio: oikeasti lähellä. Meille kävelet rautatieasemalta, ja meiltä kävelet uimaan. Pääsee meille bussillakin, ja omalla autolla. Talomme on v:lta 1929, mutta huoneisto on remontoitu 2018. Huoneessa on sängyt 2 aikuiselle ja 1 lapselle. Varapatja löytyy tarvittaessa. Pienessä keittiössä nautit aamukahvit ja iltapalat. Oma tilava kylppäri. Rehevä piha tarjoaa tilaa oleskeluun. Käytössä on kesällä terassi ruokaryhmineen ja riippumattoineen.

Cute Cottage in Finnish Landscape

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
